Will try. Believe you're hunch on Thomas' insurance being a chunk of it is accurate. Then there's incentives/bonuses not earned. The per-game roster bonuses add up considering how much the Giants use those.

With the adjustment factored in, Jason has the Giants with $32M in cap space. That doesn't account for the Jevon Holland or Chauncey Golston contracts. Without having those terms, let's estimate they have around $20M in space. I know there's the rookie class, in-season costs, etc. But they still have plenty of space to making signings, especially with the huge restructure options they have
