Bobby Skinner (or maybe Nick or Dan) made this comparison.  They appreciate that the two players compared are high comparisons, but the point is that it's a good comparison in terms of relative talent and position played.

So, if you had a choice between getting Parsons or Williams (to add to the team), which would you pick?

Parsons. We should have drafted him when we had the chance.

Rich: It's hard to make those types of comparisons, but in this case I almost agree.

I believe Graham will prove to be a better pass rusher than Williams, so the analogy is not perfect.

All things considered, IMO this year's choice is a lot more difficult than Parsons v. Williams, and it's even more so for the Giants because there's a VERY good chance both will be there for Schoen.

If Jeff Hostetler could do it, Daniel Jones can do it !!!

I think the Vonn Miller comp is better.  Parsons to me has more of an LT "I'll go through you" aggressive mindset whereas Carter's skill is more about going around blockers.

I think Graham is significantly overrated especially with the depth in this class. It also depends on what you need from you DT whether he's a guy for you. Not many people running a 4-3 these days and that is were he would benefit the most. Just my opinion, I think Carter and Hunter are in a different league than Graham, and I don't think Graham is that far ahead of the next level of Dts in this class with his teammate Grant, and Nolen. Any other class and he's not a top 5-7 pick.

The real question should be:  Three years from now, which player would you be happier to have drafted?  Needs come and go, but good players are the key to winning.

I agree 110% on Graham being very overrated. I would be upset if he were the pick at 3. I actually like Grant more, not just for value, but overall upside as well

j: I know you do, and I see it in some of his tape, but consider this... he is one of those guys who has heavy wrestling experience. His angles/leverage make his play better than his current body. When playing football becomes a full-time job (and the trainers tighten up a few "loose ends" in his physical condition, he has a great chance of reaching his ceiling, which is high. Bob
