We wake up Monday Morning and the headline is "The NY Giants Won the NFL Draft" for that to be the case, what do you think has to happen? For the Giants to Win the draft in your eyes, what do they need to do?

In my opinion I think they win the draft if it unfolds like this.

3- Abdul Carter ED Penn St
34- Walter Nolen DT Ole Miss
39- Jaxson Dart QB Ole Miss
65- Tate Ratledge G Georgia
99- Cam Skattebo RB ASU
105- Savion Williams- Weapon TCU
154- Denzel Burke CB OSU
219- Grayson Mccall QB NC ST
246- Ryan Fitzgerald K FSU

**39- Chicago has multiple 2nd rd picks almost back to back and in this scenario I trade our 2nd, and 4th in 2025 plus Hyatt for 39 with Chicago banking on us picking high again next year.

With that Draft I think we win the weekend. It doesn't have to be an entire mock draft, but what do we need to do to win the weekend?

Is McCall the kid who QBd Coastal Carolina for a few years?

I think it starts with not overpaying for a qb.   If they go in knowing we may not get a qb, there's lots of team building that can be done at D line, O line and Running back. With that said I would love a Dart late first or at 34 or a McCord or Slough or Milroe in rounds 3 or 4.

For me, they win the draft if picks 3, 4, and 5 are starting by mid season and 3-4 UDFAs make the team. We worry too much about the 1st round. Yes you might need an Eli Manning, but you need the Chase Blackburns, James Butlers,  Rich Seuberts, Ahmad Bradshaws, and Antonio Pierces too.

It isn't about getting a 3rd rounder who is worth a 3rd rounder. It is finding a 5th rounder who should have been a 2nd rounder.
I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you read is not what I meant - Robert McCloskey (if he were on this Forum)

Yeah, he absolutely dominated at Coastal, but when his coach left he went to NC State this past season and hurt himself like week 1 I think and never played. I could be wrong about the injury but I really liked his game at Coastal and no one has talked about him at all during this draft cycle.

** Edit, I found out why he hasn't been mentioned, he retired this offseason out of nowhere but is still on mock draft boards.

Unfortunately for NYG, the one thing the Bears don't need is more WRs.

Didn't all their guys leave? We can sub in Singletary since they have an RB problem.

J: Super. I'd take it gladly, and I like the trade up to get Dart. They won't get him otherwise, IMO. Bob
If Jeff Hostetler could do it, Daniel Jones can do it !!!

speaking of this, was thinking of doing a digestible form of basic team needs and their top picks for all teams so that we have or can pull up on draft day incase there is a guy we really hope falls and can see the guys in front of us that may need him or behind us that may jump us etc. I don't want to do all of that though if you think it won't be used.

Jess,

I think that site pretty much does what you're looking for.  It might not be worth reinventing the wheel

Very true, I just couldn't see it that well, I'm still young but felt really old trying to read that lol.

I like this, I would prefer Grant at 34, but overall this would be very ideal. Skattebo and Savion alongside  Nabers and co, could be an interested group.
