I would love to see a fast LB who can cover a TE and play sideline to sideline.  That said, I hope the picks are the best picks available (except Sanders)

MightyGiants

I am leaning RB at 4.   The RB is likely going to be impactful, while an O-line pick is more a gamble

IMO we need at least one OL, we also need a RB, ESPN thinks we need a WR, but we have Nabers, Slayton, Robinson and Hyatt. An ILB would be nice and a Safety. Upgrade at TE if possible,

Miles Frazier: A guard who started 39 games over three seasons while bouncing between right guard (28 starts), left guard (9 starts) and even getting a couple starts at right tackle.

Dylan Sampson: a RB Sampson's elite acceleration and precise footwork made him lethal in both gap and zone concepts at Tennessee. Has very good hands, a runs like a bat out of hell.

Gunnar Helm: An Inline Blocking TE, has good hands, very good route runner, pretty good speed, most mocks had him going round 3.

Jalen Royals is the highest ranked WR left, but I would rather have Elic Ayomanor he is taller, better hands and can block.

We need to juice up the offense

nb: We may already have one. I don't think Carter was ever asked to do that specific job at Penn State (maybe @PSUBeirut knows?) but I'm sure he can do it, at least when playing against average NFL TE's. He has dropped back in coverage in zone at times but I can't recall if he ever had to man up on a TE. Bob
If Jeff Hostetler could do it, Daniel Jones can do it !!!

brownE: From only the guys you mentioned, I'd take Frazier. The more OL the better. Bob

Here's a guy who reminds me of Ivan Pace Jr., who was the "best LB in the draft", but "too small", so he went undrafted...only to become "NFL defensive player of the week" a couple of times, and ended up on the "First Team NFL all-rookie", but I digress

His name is Aaron (A-A-ron) Smith and he plays for South Carolina State. He's one of those "Small School Wonders". He seeks the ball like a heat-seeking missile and is like a pissed off pit bull going after the unlucky player with the ball. Could very well go undrafted like Pace. But he's lightning fast, instantly locates the ball, then terrorizes and punishes the ball carrier

No. 11 - loves to hit - tackles like he wants to inflict a painful message

Jolly: Despite your bias, Slater would be my pick if they decide to go OL (which I hope they do). More likely, though, it would be Mbow from Purdue. Bob

For me, Carter's main job is rushing the passer. He probably could drop back and cover but it would be on an exception basis.  A good OC could design plays to keep Carter away from the ball. I want him to terrorize the QB

The #Giants hold 4 picks today, including the 3rd pick of Round 4 at 105. NYG needs to give its 2025 offense SOMETHING in this draft.

I'm watching OG & RB, starting with Sacramento State offensive guard Jackson Slater.

"He injects toughness in your room right now [snaps], because he's not taking any B.S. from anybody," OL guru Big Al of
@disruptivesport
told me on Talkin' Ball. "We're rolling down a dark alley, I'm taking Jackson Slater with me."

LSU's Miles Frazier another name to consider on day 3.

Arizona State RB Cam Skattebo, meanwhile, is also still on the board. Joe Schoen likes to take his RBs in the 5th round, based on his Eric Gray & Tyrone Tracy Jr. picks the past two years. But we'll see how Schoen's board ultimately falls here positionally.

Schoen also has thrown a late-round dart at an LB in two of his three drafts so far (Beavers, Muasau)

The Giants' four picks today are 4-105, 5-154, 7-219 and 7-246

Skinner likes the kicker Fitzgerald from FSU

Skattebo's value was too high to pass up. I just hope we can get a good Oline next.
