Frustrates me a little that Singletary is still getting the 1s reps when Tracey clearly showed significantly more and you have a Heisman finalist you just drafted.

I do like that they are moving Mbow around to see where he best fits. I could see a scenario were Kubas takes over RG next year and Mbow takes over RT so they don't have to pay Elemunor, though I'd like him back because I am enjoying the depth rn. If Mbow takes off like we all hope he can, Eluemunor could be the best swing lineman in the NFL being able to play LT, RG, and RT at a high level.

I understand RNR, Riley, and Chatman know the system but I'd rather all our FAs get those 1 reps Golston, Robertson-Harris, and Ledbetter.

Despite Okereke being on the outs for the organization, I think he could be a huge deciding factor on how well the D does.

I almost feel bad for Micah McFadden because he played his ass off last year, but I am all on board with Carter getting Off ball linebacker reps spying these mobile qbs or trailing elite TEs on early downs. Do you know what the typical breakdown is for 1st team/2nd team edges in a live game? Will all 3 of our elite edges get enough snaps to warrant having all 3 or will we be wasting them?

First prediction of the season- Nubin is going to be elite in the SS role, and with Manuel being the coach that he is, I could see us being a top 10 secondary by seasons end if we have no injuries.

Jess,

For whatever reason, Tracy wasn't practicing yesterday.  With a reported 100% attendance, there was something that held him back.  Perhaps the stomach bug that impacted some of the team.

I remember hearing that and didn't file it away. It is crazy that we have so much added talent to this team that Skattebo, Mbow, Golston, Ledbetter, and Carter never really got pictured or mentioned yesterday.

I love them moving Mbow around, i see Jim as the 6th man on this line, or first up at a multiple positions.

I know RG is a pressing need, but Neal started all 13 games at left guard during his freshman year in 2019 before moving to right tackle in 2020. If we are trying to get the last chance out of Neal, wouldn't it make sense to put him at LG?

Tracy has been out with an Illness, as I saw it reported.

I think they like Kubas. I was surprised that they moved Neal to LG instead of RG The LG frequently pulls, and the Strong Side is often the Offensive Right. Daboll called a pretty balanced Run Direction, although slightly more to the right. I think Eluemunor may be the most valuable player on that line, factoring in availability and diversification. I would be surprised if he wasn't a starter.

I understand RNR, Riley, and Chatman know the system but I'd rather all our FAs get those 1 reps Golston, Robertson-Harris, and Ledbetter.
Perhaps this early, they are starting out with those who know the lay of the land.

Despite Okereke being on the outs for the organization, I think he could be a huge deciding factor on how well the D does.
He was pretty good in Run Defense last season compared to 2023. He was however in a higher % of Coverage in 2024 and less in Pass Rush. His Pass Rush Grade, however, was very good in 2024 compared to 2023. He also missed 4 games last season due to injury.

I almost feel bad for Micah McFadden because he played his ass off last year, but I am all on board with Carter getting Off ball linebacker reps spying these mobile qbs or trailing elite TEs on early downs. I like McFadden in making big plays with a nose for the ball, but he's an overall poor tackler and not great in Coverage. I think in order for the best players to get on the field, Carter will have Off ball duties. Thibs and Burns were on the field mostly last season, and Ojulari spotted Thibs. I think Carter will be splitting with Thibs and moved inside at times.

First prediction of the season- Nubin is going to be elite in the SS role, and with Manuel being the coach that he is, I could see us being a top 10 secondary by seasons end if we have no injuries.
I agree and the Giants may have one of the best safety combinations in the League.

With Dart, this gives off Aura or Swag, could you imagine DJ doing this. We'd be laughing at it but with Dart it is cool. Jones doing it would remind me of those Brian Kelly clips of him dancing with players.
