NOTHING comes easy once you get to the semifinals. This is the backbreaker and even the best of teams have fallen off the cliff in this round. You make it here because you DESERVE to be here. This is the "Final Four" of the NHL but in Best of Seven format. If you can survive this round, you've arrived on destiny's doorstep.

It's NOT for the feint of heart - period!

It's going to be tough for the Rangers every bit as tough as it's going to be for the Panthers.

In other words, this is going to be one damn exciting series to watch, with the Western Conference Finals being equally as exciting.

Edmonton vs. Vancouver tonight for the right to play Dallas, tonight! A great series overall and worth watching if you have insomnia on the East Coast!

Peace!

Florida IS a really good team.  So are the Rangers.  This is the conference finals.  nobody should expect it to be easy.

Yes its almost incomprehensible that Bill did not land in another place but who knows

I think the Patriots will falter for a bit until they realize Joe Judge is available to move up to HC.....LOL. NOT!!

Patriot's should have brought Mike Vrable back to be their HC in my opinion but lets see

Please be well, not just for your sake but also for ours. It's a widely shared sentiment as you can see. All the best.

Cheers!

Masters degree Colunbia University,  fastest time South Carolina Pro Day  4.27, squats 700 Lbs and had the most reps of any RB with the barbell.....not your average RB.  Five foot 5, 200 lbs

Lets go Dante or as they call you "Turbo"

I hope they give him a shot

With or without a prescription, I could not help but root for a fellow Columbia Lion.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Former Columbia football running back Dante Miller '22CC agreed to terms with the New York Giants, pending a physical, the team announced Friday. Miller becomes the first Lion to ink an NFL deal since punter Cameron Nizialek '17CC signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2022.

A first-team All-Ivy League selection in 2021, Miller rushed for 1,281 yards on 258 carries with six touchdowns, including a career-long run of 83 yards (sixth-longest rush in school history) during his stint with Columbia. Upon graduation, he ranked ninth in career rushing yards (1,281), fourth in yards per carry (5.0), and seventh in rushing yards per game (49.3) in Columbia history.

After exhausting his Ivy League eligibility, the native of Rockingham, North Carolina, joined the University of South Carolina as a graduate transfer. Miller saw action in in six games, rushing for 38 yards on six carries and contributing on special teams.

Miller turned heads at South Carolina's pro day, running the 40-yard dash in 4.27 seconds to garner the attention of NFL scouts. Due to NCAA Compliance and NFL rules, he was ruled ineligible for the NFL Draft and allowed to sign with a team as a free agent.

Cheers!

Quote from: Jclayton92 on May 19, 2024, 03:18:35 PMThese cops were clearly not prepared for what they were dealing with and over reacted to the situation. You would likely have not seen the same reaction to something so insignificant or the rush to detain and arrest if this had been in or around a major metropolitan area.

Just my opinion though.

As I read the accounts it wasn't these cops, it was this cop.  And he was a detective and not experienced in a situation like this (pure conjecture - was he already a little pissed and out of sorts to be called out in the rain to do crowd control instead of investigating the fatality ?).  And he (and the others, to be fair) were wearing yellow optical vests so it might not have been apparent that he was even a cop.  A cop told Sheffler to bypass the traffic and he was doing what he was told.  Then this guy got involved.  And I repeat a point I made earlier, what kind of idiot tries to stop a car by grabbing it and holding on when it doesn't stop.  I also found it amusing that the last line of the police report was about his ruined beyond repair uniform trousers, valued at $80.

I'm a very conservative guy and I pretty much knee-jerk support the cop in controversial cases, but from what I've read, given the circumstances and Sheffler's reputation as the straightest of straight arrows, not this time.
