I disagree .. he's shown as much ability from anyone at this point in career .. he processes quickly and has confidence to throw down field. he also throws guys open and not into collision like #8 does often. let him learn .. he'll be a middle of the pack qb like all the rest not named Mahomes burrow hurt etc etc

not at all .. he's undersized and gets handled by OT's at times .. he does have great speed around the edge but it is what it is .. I like him but I see what I see

some games he puts it all together. some games he's neutralized. he's the second best pass rusher on the team second to Lawrence.

Eli never ran unless he absolutely had to .
He would take sacks all the time.... Except when he was in prime and Super Bowl years....he knew how to take a hit.
Todays QBs are mobile run many many times to keep plus alive.
Eli was not quick or close to being fast....thus took many sacks and knew how to go down with a hit.
Eli was very good but the game is evolving quickly into a speed game on both sides of the ball.
Not sure how he would do these days.

he'd be just fine .. Eli was a gamer and the Giants were never out of a game when he was there. he is a pure pocket passer but there's room for those too .. see Goff at Detroit

These are some of the most ridiculous, dominating stats i have ever seen. If he keeps up this type of play, do you think he will be a HOF candidate?  I know he's basically only had 2 seasons of this type of play so far, and he still doesnt have chris jones or aaron donald type of notoriety. but anyone who truly appreciates the game of football has to realize he is a top 15 player in this league. and he's doing things at his position that are absolutely unheard of. i dont even know what to compare it to. its like a defensive end getting 10 int on the season. its that level of dominance. i LOVE having this guy on the team.

Guys .. Jones is NOT that guy. I was really hoping the team and he would've learned from last year but alas, our QB1 should be QB gone sooner than later. I am against a rookie stepping in .. in more favor of a vet replacing Jones
