Below I've provided a look at my personal Giants only target board, where I'd consider moving up and back to target players I like and note importantly,  think would suit the Giants needs and schemes

It doesn't include every player - just 3 I'd take in R1 considering we're drafting 3rd overall - and only a smattering of players who have any chance of dropping to the top of R2/34 given a lot of luck and a strong wind!

However, there is a lot of depth at a couple of positions which coincide with our needs and we could be adding impact starters and guys logging considerable snaps from rounds 2-4.

For obvious reasons,  with the possible exception of IDL, you can discount the potential to double dip at any position. Equally, if we do draft Abdul Carter, you can pretty much discount our also drafting an EDGE or ILB as he can fill both roles.

Equally,  with the recent heavy investment in the secondary, I can't see us looking at anyone before late day three. TE, while it could be improved on, is unlikely to pique much interest before then either.

This is how that looks horizontally by position

And here is how it all fits together overall on a vertical "stack' so you can see who I rate higher.

UK ..I would take McCord at 66..if available .some team wants us earlier..still think we could get him ..this is a guy in McCord that will be an NFL coach assistant one day..his dad has a huge influence on him..but I think he can be a credible starter..I do one day .leadership..confidence..dedication to his craft .big time experience

Certainly not outside of the realms of possibilities. Just depends whether the Giants think they can win with him. Matt Simms, son of Chris, has worked with him so there's inside knowledge available if we want it.

Unless I missed him, I don't see Booker from Alabama on your board.  Oversight or something about him you really don't like?

Combination of two things. First I think he'd go mid-1st so he's not a target for us anyway. Secondly, we run such a varied rushing attack, I don't see him as a schematic fit. His pass blocking is excellent but he's too damn slow to run WZ, is useless in the screen game, it's debatable whether he can get up to LB's on IZ - which we primarily run - and in gap he'd have to be the pin not the pull guy for the same reason,  which telegraphs our play calls (though we could  get around this with a mobile C as JMS is)

I think this is fantastic UK! I have printed and will use as a another tool on draft day.

My only caveat is in he event of a trade down from 3 for a 'godfather offer' , I could see the Giants fall in love with one of the prototype size/speed EDGEs in this draft namely the 6'5 265lb Shemar Stewart or Mykel Williams

Williams I like. He's a top 15 pick in my book hence not on my list. Shemar Stewart on the other hand just leaves me cold - all athlete, no player!

I thought before studying Texas A&M games that "good Shemar" would be Stewart and "bad Shemar" would be Turner. Turns out I wanted no part of Stewart as a future Giants player because  I worry he'll  be a bust, but would be happy if we drafted Turner who I think will outperform his draft slot. The latter is a surprisingly good fit for us.

Shemar though he has very few sacks the pressure and win rate is pretty high. He was nicknamed menace for a reason. I do worry about the bust rate but guys like this have panned out too. He is the prototype the Giants love.

Giants love that prototype so much I kind of feel either could be on the shortlist if we were to drop to somewhere like 10 Chicago or 11 SF. We also need more size on the edge as we haven't had the true size/speed guys like of yesteryear .

True, but I watched JPP at South Florida and even though he 'only' had 6.5 sacks for them and was raw technically, he caused havoc. Stewart runs into some things because he's huge and fast. I just don't see it with him, though  I'll obviously hope I'm wrong if we draft him  ;)

Totally respect your opinion on him. As we know this stuff is so hit or miss but man this guy has tools to salivate over! I agree there is a looks like Tarzan plays like Jane bust factor but I think he has a pretty decent shot to be a great pro with better coaching.

Him and Mykel definitely fit that prototype they love (and haven't found in a while). I would guess at least 1 is super high on their list in a trade down.

It's hard to grade potential, plsyers like Savion Williams, Joshua Farmer, and several others have tons of potential if in the right system.

I agree with the take on Shemar Stewart, but some team will think he's the next Travon Walker, and take him high ignoring his production and that's with playing with elite talent next to him.

Uncle Mickey

I think two guys we absolutely LOVE are Judkins and Arroyo I dont know if they beat out other priorities but...they fit what the Giants want badly right now and what they have historically went after.Arroyo is ths big 2 way TE size/speed guy Judkins is a 1500+ Yard RB as a FRESHMAN who is a bruising back with some wiggle and vision

Judkins is a team killer, and Arroyo with the injury history and no production besides this year is jarring.
