Who knows if this is just smoke...but what would a trade up from 34 to the Rams 26th pick cost..and would even JD be available? If you get Carter and Dart the first night..does that work for fans? I like Dart about there..and you probably still have two 3s for OL DT..

Thoughts? And cost??

If the rumors that Daboll believes Dart can be his QB, then I am fine with it.  Otherwise, what's the point of even having Daboll as the head coach?   The biggest asset was supposed to be his ability with QBs.

Probably 34, 99, and 154.

No. Nothing from Daboll in the three years as a Giants head coach convinces me that he is the QB guru people say he is.

My understanding from a VERY reliable source is that the Giants have no interest in Dart. In fact, they can't get over just how not ready for the NFL he actually is.

I wouldn't put a lot of stock in your "VERY reliable source" (no offense intended). This is "lyin season" and EVERYTHING anyone hears from leaks, is smoke. My first thought is, "if the front office leaked they have 'no interest in Dart'", then I believe they have a lot of interest in Dart. If they were hinting that they liked Dart, then I'd know they weren't interested in him at all. A lot of fans reading the tea leaves, but they need to take from it the exact opposite of what they think and believe nothing they are hearing. We'll know who they like in the next couple of days

The Rams are looking for a QB to eventually take over for Stafford. There was some speculation that they like Dart, but they may want to drop and take Milroe later.

Is any college Qb genuinely ready for the NFL? Is Cam Ward, who spent most of his college career between Incarnate, Ward, Washington St, and Miami playing powder puff teams more equipped for the NFL than a 3 year starter in the SEC coached by a former NFL head coach.

I think saying someone isn't ready for the NFL is similar to saying they are in a qb friendly offense in the sense that it's all lazy scouting. Because the truth is you never know how these prospects are going to do until they take their first snaps. Every year we see the most NFL ready players bust, and guys that "need time" explode immediately.
