I don't think it's possible his agent hired someone to erase it from the Internet, but I don't rule anything out without evidence.

A player rolled up on his leg and he must have Superman's knees because the bone broke instead.

I saw that article, but missed the broken leg part. Nothing about a Rod but I heard that elsewhere too.
"There is a greater purpose...that purpose is team. Winning, losing, playing hard, playing well, doing it for each other, winning the right way, winning the right way is a very important thing to me... Championships are won by teams who love one another, who respect one another, and play for and support one another."

At the end of the season, possibly.  Neal's contract is fully guaranteed, so no cap benefit to cutting him.

Quote from: Bob In PA on April 26, 2025, 03:40:56 PMCorrect me if I'm wrong, but isn't that a penalty for ineligible receiver downfield in the NFL?

Saw this on the longer video I posted a bit back, Bob. Very much an illegal lineman downfield penalty.

@Ed Vette All of this post is right out of the article:

Reasons for concern with Mbow's transition to the NFL

The biggest reason for concern surrounding Mbow is the broken leg he suffered in the Iowa game in Week 6 in 2023. His stint playing right tackle at Purdue was cut short because of this, and until he takes the field and puts out quality tape in 2024 there is no guarantee that he will rebound to full strength. However, given the tape he has put out, this is not yet a reason to knock him until it has proven a hinderance long-term.

There is also a reason to question how much lateral movement and agility Mbow possesses when he is asked to get wide to the perimeter and find work. On tape, there have been a few instances where he has struggled to work across the face of the man he is trying to scoop out and seal off. When he is working at the second level as well, his spacing is tremendous, but he does occasionally get beat to the spot when looking for work.

PS. After posting this, I realized you were not stating that you couldn't find it in the article, but rather saying you originally did not see the part about the broken leg. I decided to leave it up anyway.
If Jeff Hostetler could do it, Daniel Jones can do it !!!

Q. You said you were surprised that Mbow was there. Everyone kind of was. Was there any red flags medically that popped up that caused him to slide?

JOE SCHOEN: No, and we look at all the medical, and that information is shared so you have an idea of what other teams have on guys. And no, it wasn't — there were no real red flags from that standpoint. When you take these guys, sometimes you get texts from around the league from other personnel people or general managers if you took a guy they were going to take, and he's one that there were a lot of texts, just the value where we got him. I'm not really sure what happened, but glad he was there. That happens sometimes in the fourth round. We liked guys in the past and we've been able to get them in the fifth that maybe we had in the fourth.

Rich: As a NOT doctor, it is my assumption, inasmuch as both what you posted and what I posted are true, that a broken leg with titanium in it is only a problem going through airport screening. lol Seriously, I think Schoen's point was that no knee joints, ligaments, etc. (the usual things that kill careers) were involved. Broken bones do heal in young people, provided they're treated promptly, with little or no future problems, unlike knee parts. Bob
