No surprise there.  They have to make the call on Thibs by May 1.  $16.5M if they pick it up. I thought he'd be dealt during the draft. 

If he moves into guard and has a good year, he can be re-signed for a much lower cap hit per year.

He's already been extended. By that I mean they've already announced they picked up the 5th year option.

If he is traded we have a dead cap of 3 million with 4 million in savings. So it will cost the team trading for him 4 million, maybe someone will take a chance for a 6th rd or 7th.

No brainer whatsoever. One of the biggest busts in Giants draft history. Right up there with guys like Ron Dayne and Cedric Jones. Might be the single biggest bust at all.

I hate being negative today when I feel so good about everything else, but I'm not going to sugar coat the Evan Neal story. It has been a five car pile-up right from year one.

We all forget that Cyclops started for the Giants in 2000 Super Bowl. He was a disappointment but not a complete bust.
