Dart hitting a strike on the 1st bowl- that's my qb.

We also had a Cambre sighting that day. He's almost become mythical or at the very least mysterious. Kid looks decent, at the very least fast.

Jesus for a 3-14 team OTAs are now too hard so need a break?  Parcells would be furious about this.

Order pizzas in and do class time if you want to dial it down a bit but frankly they should not be doing that.

The thing that sticks out to me from the bowling vid, is the stark difference between Dart and DJ. Dart has an alpha personality - not a wall flower. Highly sociable kid, making friends with everyone on the team. I liked DJ a lot, but he was consciously reserved at all times, and when the going got rough in a game, he looked like a deer in the headlights. I hope he is great for the Colts (unless they play the Giants of course...lol)
You can never actually lose a homing pigeon - if your homing pigeon does not return, what you've lost is a pigeon

TC took the team bowling during camp in 2007.  That worked out well............................

Bill Walsh used to take his team on an all day fishing trip...which also worked out well to get players to bond and let off some steam. Who among us doesn't like to fish? Most of us don't because of time constraints and lack of a close fishing hole...at least that's my excuse

What is the old saying about fishing? I think it's: "The charm of fishing is the pursuit of that which is elusive, yet attainable...an unlimited series of occasions for hope with every cast"

How many of these coaches did this after a winning percentage equivalent to 3-14?

They did it after practice and every team in the league does this regardless of record during OTAs. You want the team to bond and come together as a unit, they can't do that if they only see each other on the field. It is why they went golfing on day one after they got off the field. There is plenty of time to work the playbook at mandatory Minicamp and training camp. They also typically do a family day so that the new players families can meet other familiy members and get help with schools, places to live, the best ways to travel etc.

This is a very good description.

Yeah, they should be out running laps for being 3-14 last year.   /sarcasm/
I'd rather be a disappointed optimist than a vindicated pessimist.

Or doing push ups. Wait, we had a recent coach who tried that. 😂

Or do the same and get blown out like they did against the Cowboys 40-0 for being unprepared.   /sarcasm/

Jersey Heel

Yes, I'm sure if they lose Week 1 it'll be because they went bowling in the middle of June.
