Happy Father's day!

Becoming a father for the first time was a transformative experience. After holding the little lady my wife had just given birth to, I looked into her squinting eyes, and she, mine, and it just connected right then and there. In my mind and heart, this unconditional love between us was established and it felt like the closest experience to be touched by God in this world. It was powerful, to say the very least.

On this day, I look back at that moment, and tell that young lady, now 11 years old, about that wondrous experience, and we look together at the picture taken of her, squinting at me, to capture that transformative moment forever.

I was also blessed, when marrying my wife, to become a father of three immediately who put me through the school of hard knocks of parenthood.

So, I salute all fathers out there on our day. You may not want to be called out for it, but we all know what you do and deserve to, just the same.

For our fathers no longer with us, we honor them in our hearts and by keeping their legacy by telling our kids, and grandkids stories about them, where they came from and what they did when they were alive.

This is what makes Father's Day special. I hope you all are having a great one!

Happy Father's Day. It's a ton of work and character to be a good father. So congrats to the guys who do it right. And big respect to everyone on this message board. I know many don't agree with my takes, but it's awesome to be around knowledgable fans. Especially when times are down. Everyone is a fan when we are good but it takes a certain dedication and loyalty to be posting in these esoteric message boards after a three win season in the middle of June. I have major respect for everyone here because they are the real ones. Good or bad, they care and have dedication and loyalty. That says a lot about their character.

I have just been reminded by my 4 children, 10 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren just how fortunate or blessed I am. I hope that everyone here can or will be able to share such joy. May your God bless you
