I had the best day in awhile - got it in two tries

I told my teenage son, when I was his age, I used to get 10 CDs in the mail for a penny. I don't know if he thought I was lying or even knew what a CD was, or what a penny was, or what the mail was, or all of the above

That's a bummer Tim. I killed mine the other day with GOOSE  :boooo:

I was lucky today because of my first word that put me in the right direction for solving. When I got it on the 4th try, I seriously didn't think it was even a real word and expected it to come back with "not a word". I thought it was strictly a colloquial term

I thought it was English slang as well.

The word occurred to me on my third guess but I passed and guessed something more common that also fit. I got it on the fourth guess as there did not seem to be any other options.

I had to look up the word.  As we know the word, it is slang.  However, as a word in the English language, it has a different meaning.

Three today - for me it was really one of only two words that fit for my third guess, and for once I guessed right when facing a pure process of elimination situation.
