we need continuity   Waller stays
10- bring in more line talent and re-sign Pugh

So keep everyone but Barkley and start Taylor?

My lord. This could be the worst possible scenario. How about we get rid of old and bad players. Draft a QB and find a number 1 WR. This team isn't close to competing for anything.

There's a bunch to unpack there.....

And quite a few to which I'd say "Hell no".

This post shows a remarkable lack of clarity on how literally almost anything in the NFL works.  I usually try to bite my tongue and let people learn the game, but this inane.

- trading Jones would incur a massive cap hit, if you could even find a trade partner willing to take on his contract, not to mention he would fetch peanuts on the open market. 
- sign and trade Barkley?  Are we playing baseball?  The rules in the NFL are extremely prohibitive to this scenario as again, it would incur a sizeable cap hit.  The Giants are better off either franchising him, or letting him walk and picking up the compensatory pick.
- Tyrod Taylor as starter?  What makes the Giants a better team with him at the helm?  He shows almost the same level of injury-proneness as Jones.

Honestly, can we please stop with this?  Now I fully believe it's trolling.

If they can significantly improve the talent and performance of the Oline, they will be a lot closer and better able to decide more wisely about the "skill position players by 2025.

That is, by no means, meant to suggest that it will lead to more than frequent competitiveness, e.g. Dallas Cowboys for the past 28 years.
