1st 2 games could be against rookie QBs.

Not crazy about Thanksgiving in Dallas.....and I suspect Mrs Gman will not be happy about that, either.

I already told my wife we are staying home for thanksgiving.  We can invite people over, but we are staying home.

Two Thursday games sucks.

That said, having the Munich game count as a road game is big. Plus we only have eight road games this year, so that means we really only have seven true road games.

I hate playing on Thanksgiving

We should have had the bye before the Thanksgiving week game.
I HATE TO INCLUDE THE WORD NASTY< BUT THAT IS PART OF BEING A WINNING FOOTBALL TEAM.

Agreed. Didn't we just have a Thanksgiving game a couple years ago?

OTOH, getting a mini-bye after the T-giving game isn't bad.

Not to veer off the topic, but it still pisses me off to no end that those Cowpukes are always home on Thanksgiving. They wormed their way into this. I couldn't care less that they play on Thanksgiving, but they shouldn't always have a home game.

C'mon, Lenn. They're "America's Team". You know that gets them special treatment. It's not a matter of whether or not it's deserved; not when we see how the single worst sonofabitch in the country is still be pandered shamelessly.

Cheers!

I see a 1 - 7 start and a new HC the Tuesday after Week 8.

Two more wins to round out the season after that.

Two Thursdays unusual and against the same team, even more so.  At least that way one is at home.

2 teams breaking in QBs in weeks 1 and 2, hope that "attacking" defense is ready as those games are probably the best opportunities for victories in the 1st half of the season.

I agree.   The first thing I always look for is the bye.   Ideally you want that at the middle (or later) in the schedule-  check

I look for any killer stretches, I don't see that

Finally (and this is just my preference), I look for a minimum of prime-time games.  At three, that's about as low as one can expect as a Giants fan.

Very true.  If this team ever gets a good as we hope, its likely there will be 5 primetime games per year.

I think Weeks 3 to 7 are pretty rough. Each of those teams were above .500 in 2023. The Browns, Cowboys, and Eagles were well above that, winning 11, 12, and 11 games (respectively). Bengals were 9-8 with Joe Burrow only starting 10 games. Seahawks are usually a tough team and its an away game. I don't know what you define as killer, but the Giants could easily go 0-5 during that stretch.
