On the other hand, there is another truism.  If a receiver runs the wrong route or the route incorrectly, a QB will appear to be inaccurate.   Normally there is no way of knowing if it's on the receiver or the QB.  However, in this case I found it very interesting that two QBs working with the same receivers were the only QBs to exceed the 50% mark.

Ben McAdoo said this is why QB ratings are not a good indicator of QB performance, but of the entire offensive team's performance.

The offensive line was at its worst at the start of the season when Jones played. Barkley was missing several of his games too.

See but tyrod was tremendous in other analytics etc. While Jones simply wasn't for the last year.

Last night on talking Giants they discussed that people in the organization wondered why tyrod could run dabolls offense but Jones couldn't.

Jones is very good at the Kafka bland stuff while Tyrod who has never been a deep thrower was in dabolls offense.

J: The Chiefs' approach is the one I favor in general; and, coincidentally, it fits the Giants' personnel fairly well.

Giants lack a great TE (which really helps w/ the short passing attack) but maybe Bellinger steps it up.

In any event, I expect Giants will try to make the Chiefs' approach work for them.

That's most often how it goes. All the best ones, a Mahomes, a Brady, even a Manning make plays not where or how often, but when they matter most.
