It will say a lot about the Giants if Barkley shines in Philly- how will he do?

None of the options fits my thinking precisely, but the first one is fairly close to my viewpoint. Bob
If Jeff Hostetler could do it, Daniel Jones can do it !!!

I hear you Bob I struggled to author the right answers... I hope he does well and yet we crush Philly to remind him where he came from

One thing is sure- we will all be tracking his progress

I voted for him blowing it out. For the first time in his career he has a good line, and excellent receiver corps and an above average quarterback.

Teams won't be able to sell out to stop him and he'll have holes to run through. Unless he gets hurt I expect him to hit 1,400+ rushing yards, 350+ receiving yards and 10+ touchdowns. I also fully expect the idiots in the media to kill the Giants for not retaining him despite the fact that he isn't worth what Philly is paying on this current Giants roster. Such is life.

He'll be the same guy he was here - a comically error prone player who is also capable of making plays, but isn't nearly as good as he was his rookie year.

The problem is, the Eagles OL even without Kelce, is light years ahead of anything Barkley had with the Giants, and their bread and butter (inside/outside zone) is Barkley's best play. He's going to have a lot of room to run, and just like Miles Sanders and D'Andre Swift, he'll produce.

I voted for blow it out.  Not sure if he will lead the league in rushing, but I think he will be among league leaders in total yards.

No way teams can key him the way they did with the Giants.

Barkley was injury-prone with the Giants.  I suspect, like Engram (who hasn't missed a game in his 2 years with the Jags) I suspect Barkley will enjoy good health with the Eagles (and away from the Giants medical team).

That said, Barkley has lost that top gear that made him special.  On top of that, I don't think he will be getting the workload he had with NYG.  I would expect something in the neighborhood of 800 - 1200 yards.

I will qualify this that these are just silly predictions, and there is little validity in my predictions or anyone else's

Blues: My exact belief is that he'll be up-and-down (same guy) but leaving out the part about injuries.  Bob

Rich I think Larry may have hacked your account.

I agree with the workload point and that could lead to lower total numbers and solid YPC.  I think a lower workload with guys not hitting him in the backfield will also help his health.

Losing a 7-10 pounds in the offseason might help his burst as well.

With all due respect to the OP, I must abstain from voting due to a serious case of voter apathy for the subject matter at hand.

Sorry!

Peace!

He'll be the same guy he was here- except this time with OL help and a QB/TE/WRs that can actually threaten defenses and take focus away from him.  So- somewhere between #s 1 and 2 is where I'd vote if the OP had thought to list something between "the same" and "leads the league".

Could careless, I'm more focused on our own room developing than I am what saquan does.

Think he'll have a good year. Better O line, better QB, better playmakers downfield creating thinner boxes, generally better play calling, more red area opportunities, etc.

Barkley doesn't have the pop/burst that he did in 2018/2019, but he can obviously still play. No reason to think he won't have a season at least on par with what he did with us in 2022.

T200

He'll have a career year but won't lead the league in rushing. He may finish top 3.

I've already gone on record saying out new RBs will collectively beat his stats.
