If Hakeem Nicks is ranked above 90, no way 90 Giants were better than he was.  Prior to injuries he dominated.

I firmly believe Nicks is vastly overrated by fans; even before the injuries, he never received any serious accolades, and in his best season, he was #19 in catches and #13 in yards.  He also benefited from playing opposite Victor Cruz; thus, wasn't subjected to double-teams/brackets.  In short, he was nowhere close to dominate (accept for a few games); I reserve that adjective for Calvin Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, and Victor Cruz. He was a good WR for two of seven seasons

Off the top of my head, I suspect the following WRs will be ranked higher than Nicks

Toomer
OBJ
Jones
Cruz
Plaxico
Del Shofner
Kyle Rote
Homer Jones
Frank Gifford*

At best, he's the 10th best WR for a franchise with maybe the NFL'S worst collection of aggregate receivers; thus, 90 feels accurate to me. 

Hakeem Nicks is ridiculously overrated. Yes his injury deeply affected him but he really only had 2 peak years.

Nicks gets remembered a lot because he was outstanding in the Giants' second postseason SB run. He was awesome in the GB game in particular (two TDs including a hail mary catch). In those four postseason games, he had 28 catches for 444 yards and 4 TDs. Over a 17 game season, that would prorate out to 119 catches for 1,8887 yards and 17 TDs. Not too shabby.

As a regular season player, he had his moments but was a notch below the best receivers in the league when healthy, and he got hurt constantly and that basically wrecked his career when he was still pretty young. There was never a time where he was a top 10 receiver in the league though. Cruz was substantially better. Toomer was also better (and way more dependable), as was Plax.

But Nicks was awesome in that second Super Bowl run, so I think many fans accentuate that run when they think about his whole career. Which I actually don't have a huge problem with.

Nicks is too low but Richie Seubert is also too low in my perspective. I'll need to see the remaining countdown and it's likely players compared to their Generation who would struggle to make a collegiate team.
