If you hear it all out, they do argue both sides of the situation

I cannot really disagree with these people.  They are spot on and the only time   I have ever heard the media discuss this so transparently (and oft brutally)

I didn't know Shady was a Giants fan.  He admits watching all our games.

How do we unscramble this omelet?   I guess we patiently watch this movie re-played for a 6th year.

Give it a rest. You have already beaten 10 horses to death.

I definitely vote for you sitting back and patiently just watching.

Hi There FL GMan....its at rest.  I thought the group would find the episode interesting.  They know their football.  Its hard to avoid the QB situation we have.  If you dont have a QB you are dead in the water.  According to Shady we dont have one.

These people are outside the Giants family and I for one enjoyed the spectacle and the arguments (often amusing observations).  We are inside the bubble and they can argue free of blue glasses.  It was interesting they argued the same justification of Jones having the one year of limited success 9-7-1

In another episode they were discussing whether Aaron Rogers should be included in the GOAT conversation.   They spoke a lot about throwing "off platform"...on the run.

I dont ever recall seeing Jones throwing effectively on the run.

Clearly, you thought wrong.   A word of advice: when the group offers up feedback-  listen

Thanks. I'll give this a listen.

I find your incessant posting around DeVito to be too much and often won't engage.

However, this is a highly debated topic on the board. We have loads of posts that rightly paint Jones in a positive light - work ethic, rehabbing updates, working out with WRs etc so I think the "other side of the coin" when done in a non-inflammatory manner is welcomed.

Even if it espouses an unpopular opinion.

Jones is our Qb this season, and if he gets injured Drew Lock will be the Qb. This is set in stone. Who cares what a talking head has to say, we have these two guys this year. We should put our seat belts on and get ready because for this season the Rollercoaster ride is set.

And nowhere near this Rollercoaster is Devito.

I share your view, Ed.

While some posts are clearly trolling, posting a less than flattering view of a current Giant player (assuming the quoted source is an individual who knows what he's talking about, such as a very good ex player), doesn't seem like trolling to me at all, nor does it feel like overkill. To your point, the vast majority of third party posting we see on Jones and other players is all about how great they look in camp, some other person saying great things about them, or some other flattering (or exculpatory) statistical take on them. I don't see why seeing/hearing the other side of the fence once in a while is the worst thing in the world.

The best thing about that segment is Joy Taylor

God bless Emmanuel Acho for taking a supportive role. I wish he would have mentioned the failed acquisitions of Golladay, Campbell, Ross, and Waller. All pass catchers who had very good years prior to the Giants and then all of a sudden forgot how to get on the damn field. That's not on Jones.

Thanks for the support Dave Brown.  I found the segment immensely entertaining.
You are right we usually hear from 3rd parties how good everyone looks in OTAs or camp.

I was shocked how much Shady seemed to want us to wake up.  Maybe he is a closet Giants fan or was one as a kid

As for the guy who mentioned Tommy. I have not proposed Tommy in some time. To me he was an interesting option and its curious how much Schoen seems to wants to keep him around.  BUT it will take quite a lot of bad news before we ever see Tommy again if ever...Im resigned to that.  UDFAs dont get the chances to right the ship....get wacked in the head, lose a game- take a seat.

Maybe the crowd is right, Jones is the real deal and "We've done everything to make this poor 14% of a Billionaire fail".....I jest of course.  I wish Daniel the best
make me eat my words Dan...make Shady cringe ....Nothing would make me happier
That would mean we are scoring and winning or at least scoring...scoring would be nice

Those 1st 6 games last year were tough to watch and take...not something I really want to witness again

Stranger things have happened....we are due.  Giant Super Bowls always come out of nowhere

Maybe, but maybe not. Does the QB make the WR or does the WR make the QB?

We have seasons where a WR like Plax who made Eli look great at times. Maybe it could also be on Jones who never helped some of those WRs achieve some semblance of success.
I HATE TO INCLUDE THE WORD NASTY< BUT THAT IS PART OF BEING A WINNING FOOTBALL TEAM.

Lenny,

I'm with you 100%. I was just saying that Acho should have mentioned those guys when the other panelists were saying that the GM didn't give Jones any help.
