No I am not trying to start a new thread on this. I play everyday mostly. My longest streak was over 200 days because when I can't get on the Internet I lose my streak. But in all the time I've played I had 100 percent correct, until today. Today was my first ever miss.

Those are the exact scenarios that have tripped me up multiple times.

I lost today too. It was a ridiculous word.

I lucked with a good first word, "BREAD" since I saw a loaf of bread on the counter that I forgot to put back last night...so I thought, that's five letters. Once I got to my third guess, I waffled for a few seconds on going with GAUNT or TAUNT, and decided to go with the "G" so as not to waste a guess using the same letter twice

Today's word stumped me pretty good...and considering I had 4 correct letters in my first guess, then 4 correct letters in my second guess...and still took me nearly 5 minutes to solve   

Normally, once you have 4 letters, it only takes seconds to figure out

I got today's in 5.  I should be around 150 on my streak, but the car that hit me ruined my streak as a missed a few days on or just after the accident

I am still hobbled.  After 2 weeks, the broken bones in the foot moved in the wrong direction.  I had surgery to put a pin the the bigger parts of the bone (it had broken into 3 pieces).  Since then, I haven't been able to put weight on the foot, so it's housebound and crutches.  It's not an easy existence.   I see the doctor next week and will see if I can do more (or if it will be more weeks of crutches)

Man, sorry to hear that. I certainly hope you get back to normal soon. I've spent time on crutches and it sucks. Isn't there a walking boot or something that you could use instead?

It was a very stupid word today but since I always stick to my regular words my second word was READY and with that I had 3 green and a yellow so it was easy for me today in 3.

It was unbelievable how long it took for me to come up with the last word. I just never thought of that as a real word and simply colloquial talk among kids
