Personally, I would have liked the Giants to give this QB a real shot. He might have surprised some.

I guess if you're Tommy D you have to be feeling good about this.

DeVito must be looking pretty good at least relative to expectations.  There is some potential there and I wonder if there is a need to use the backup QB this year, maybe DeVito can move past Lock at the #2.

I'm not ruling anything out, but the bar will be high for him to do that IMO. Coaches and GMs are human. They'd look pretty foolish if DeVito ended up being better than the backup they went out and spent $5m on. I doubt DeVito ever gets in if either of Lock or Jones are healthy, but you never know I guess.

I agree Dave. DeVito will be inactive as long as Jones and Lock are healthy.

I thought Rourke had the best shot at QB3. Wrong again. 

Let's not forget the new rule that allows teams to dress a third "emergency" QB as the 49th man.
