In camp they have been using TEs in the FB role.  So I guess he is competition for one of the TE spots.  With Cager and Jackson banged up, he might be a body.  He is pretty good at STs so I guess there is an outside chance he proves to be more than a camp body.

Who did they cut/IR to make room?
I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you read is not what I meant - Robert McCloskey (if he were on this Forum)

Another Raider castoff. How did the Raiders do last season?  :suspious:

The OL wasn't bad.  It wasn't Philly but compared to what the Giants were trotting out there every week they might as well have been.  I don't know anything about this fullback but I doubt it's going to move the needle too much one way or another and if they think it's gonna help the running game then so be it!

I love this move! It says they're planning to at least try emphasizing the run.

Sound backward to you?  It's really not (and IMO it's predicable).

Having undergone a major increase in average WR speed, D's will (or should) fear getting beaten deep.

We should be able to run the ball fairly well if we keep trying (every game). This guy is a blocker.

Not all good news... IMO he's a below-average to far-below-average receiver.

If Jeff Hostetler could do it, Daniel Jones can do it !!!

I've long been a supporter of going back to utilizing a fullback in the running game.

I will bet we are going to be a top tier running team.
