THEY better believe it....otherwise we're in for another season of unwatchable football.

Praying they know what they're doing.

From Simms to Eli (with an assist from Hoss) our Super Bowl Quarterbacks. Great defense and clutch QB performances...NY Giants Championship football.

I have an old profile still floating around: andrew_nyg....I am one and the same!

Giants WR's left on the roster
Nabers
Robinson
Hyatt
Slayton
McKenzie
Olszewski (hurt?)
Ford-Wheaton

Kinda feels like they want to sign somebody not in the building right now because it's interesting to cut both Robinson and Hodgin

ford -Wheaton. .. what has he done ? Robinson would have been a better locker room presence and he was experienced and very productive at one point
hope you are right about signing somebody

Hindsight? I literally made this statement the day he was signed:

"He has great size, but limited twitch.  He was a 3rd round pick for Buff in 2019 and showed some promise as a red-zone threat; however, his inability to gain separation and/or release from the LOS made him a non-factor over the last 3 years.  At best, he's a situational player; however, his inability to play special teams suggest it's unlikely he'll make the final roster; he's a camp body, nothing more."

Again, this was not a surprise cut.

The cuts of Hodgins and Robinson, surprise or not, suggest to me that the Giants are placing a real premium on speed in their wide receiver room this year.

If I could pick 15 just from the Giants Roster to put on the Practice squad, it would be the ones in blue.

I think Boykin and Allen Robinson have earned the right to seek a spot elsewhere.

I had thought Jalen Mayfield was having a good preseason.

As did I. While we all have some emotional attachment to guys like Hodgins, Mayfield was the most disappointing cut to me.

I thought Cloyd was by far the best Giants player on the field against the Jets. It was disappointing for me to see him get cut. Young guy who made plays when given reps. We don't need any of those guys.

Alex Johnson getting cut was a surprise.

I was impressed by his performance in the second half of the Jets game.  Not sure it was enough to win a roster spot, but it should give him consideration on the PS

It doesn't get noticed but he was partly the cause of several fair catches against the Lions and Jets.

I can't get last year's Miami game out of my mind when Mayfield was absolutely atrocious (as was the rest of the OL, to be fair)
