Now that we have the final roster, how do you see the team's improvement?

I like some of the changes but I'm having trouble finding my optimism. I think that has less to do with how the team will play and more to do with the fact that other than a few minutes in preseason, we really haven't seen anything yet.

(Request: We have had enough comments on what people think about QB. Let's not turn this into the latest topic on that please. Thanks)

The best thing I can say about the 2024 roster versus the 2023 roster is that there is sound reason to expect better play from both our O line and our pass rush. Those are two very important areas of any team.

I also think we have our best aerial playmaker (by far) since Beckham. He will be fun to watch and should really help the offense.

Overall though, I still don't think we have enough to be a playoff team and certainly not enough to genuinely contend. We lack depth, and we still lack talent in some key spots.

Are we headed in the right direction? I think we had a solid offseason, but until I see better and more consistent QB play, it's hard to get extremely excited about the future.

I think the starters are a significant improvement and their is some better depth.  That said, I see critical spots with question marks or questionable depth.

For the most point, I think we've improved...especially in the trenches and with the addition of Burns, should be able to keep opposing QBs on their heels. OL should finally be respectable...knock on wood!

Very excited to see what Chapman can do and so pleased that he made the 53. Once he gets completely acclimated to the NFL (it'll take a few games), I expect him to give teams fits...fingers crossed

Biggest worry for me: CB2 and CB depth
Less of a worry, but some anxiety: the tandem of Bellinger/Theo at TE, and QB

I think we're a little better, and hopefully Daboll calling the offense will spice things up a bit. I love DJ, but if he actually sucks this year, I will join the hordes of DJ haters (although I don't think I'm capable of actual hate)...a new detractor might be a better word. If he does just absolutely stink up the joint, then I hope we come in dead last and get the no.1 pick next year in order to start with our pick of the litter of QBs. Hopefully, DJ stays healthy and rises to every occasion this year, and then it won't be a worry
The fact that Keith Richards has outlived Richard Simmons, sure makes me question this whole, "healthy eating and exercise" thing

That seems to be the general consensus from the poll.

Overall first pick is in play, certainly top 5.  Hopefully if it is that bad, it's a chance to really set the franchise up for a decade.

I'm sick of being garbage.

Cleveland drafted in the top 10 for two decades, including several top 3 picks, and it didn't help. San Francisco got their QB with the last pick in the draft. It is more about finding talent that is a good fit for what the Coaching staff wants to do than anything else. Constant coaching changes are the only sure fire recipe for consistently bad drafting, although most think the latter causes the former.

I think OL and WR and Edge are better; CB, DT, and RB/TE worse with the rest a wash. It will come down to DJ whether or not we improve.

I think the improvements on the O-line and WRs will help the offense but a TE needs to step up and be able to make the simple catches that move the chains and force Defenses to cover the short middle of the field. We don't need a Jeremy Shockey who is among the team leaders in targets. A Jake Ballard will do. The other guys need to get the ball. I'm curious to see how the RB touches are distributed and if Slayton, a far better blocker than Hyatt, is the starter. I'm thinking Ford-Wheaton might also see some snaps of running plays the way San Francisco uses their big, physical, 3rd/4th WRs Like Jennings and Conley.

The Defense will go as the secondary goes. I love the starters and depth on the front 7 right now, although the ILB spots just got very thin temporarily, but the DBs are young and don't look like much yet. Bowen has to like what he has been given. We'll see what he does with it.

I'm expecting less turnovers from this Defense so the Offense needs to match and cut down theirs as well.  Daniel Jones threw 5 interceptions in 16 games in 2022, then had 6 in 6 games in 2023 before getting hurt. With one of the best ball security RBs in the league (Barkley) gone, I'm expecting a few more turnovers from the new RBs. I'm actually more concerned with the giveaway/takeway differential than just about anything else on the team. The Giants were a league leading +12 last season with only 6 wins. A negative number this season could wipe out  a lot of improvements on both sides of the ball and result in a similar record to 2023.
