Am I the onky one who thinks Cam Ward's delivery is a bit unorthodox?  It seems like a bit side armed with the ball getting released before the optimal telease point.

I don't want to sabotage this thread, but as a pianist myself, I share your opinion. Pianists have styles of their own and translate their feelings through the ebonies and ivories. One person's opinion is biased by his own preferred style and choice of music...which is okay, but that one opinion does not represent all the pianists in the world. Only thing I can add, is that I made all four of my kids take piano lessons and said after a year or two, they can choose any instrument they so desire, but they were going to be able to read a sheet of music and walk up to a piano and know where middle C is, and the difference between a B-flat and F-Sharp. Only one chose to stick with the piano, the others...guitar, flute, and one didn't go on with an instrument. The purpose in forcing my kids to take up an instrument - in my defense of being too hard of a father - was that attempting to master an instrument (and typically failing), one gains a far greater appreciation of those who really have mastered it. It can make one awestruck, as I've found myself many times. If never giving an instrument a shot, it's hard (I think anyway), to fully appreciate what it takes for one to master that instrument and thus, take it for granted and never be able to really appreciate it to the level it is deserved

Anyway, back to football...don't sleep on Kyle McCord! He's going to surprise a lot of people this year. You heard it here first, LOL

Are you folks watching Miller Moss from USC? This kid also looks good.  Great game.

Just came here to ask the same thing!  I haven't heard his name mentioned anywhere but I found him on one list, ranked 34th among QBs.  He looked a hell of a lot better than that tonight!

I just don't see it, although I do see him with the potential to be good (mostly due to elite physicality).

There are elements missing from his game, which he somewhat makes up for by excelling in other areas.

PS. Keep an eye on Miller Moss of USC. If his OL holds up, he'll surprise a few Big Ten teams. And it never hurts a QB to have Lincoln Riley as a coach. I don't think Moss intends to play pro ball, so most observers tend to ignore him (or give him less attention). Nevertheless, he is one darn good player... and smart.

Dart i want to follow close. He looks the part. Big arm, size, athleticism..etc. And in garbage time, an Arch Manning siting! He looks more spry than the brothers Manning.

Agreed. The weekly college thread is a great one-stop-shop for all college talk, and since this is a Giants site there probably doesn't nee to be more college talk than that.

I think this week is a bit unique because there is no pro football (or even meaningful news) and college was in full swing with some big games this weekend. So it's sort of understandable.

My personal suggestion would be that moving forward we confine college discussions to the weekly college games thread. I'm pretty sure once the NFL games start there won't be a great deal of college talk outside of Saturdays anyway.

I believe he has good fluid motion and maintains his base in the pocket. I know his arm strength is questioned by some but it looks strong enough for me. He seems to make his reads quickly and makes good decisions. I haven't spent much time scouting him since he had another season and there were 5 other QBs I was looking at. What do you see him as missing? And what's up with no TEs in this Offense?
