Where all my "Jones is great" fan club members?...the guy has had time and his throws are simply awful and he almost got picked off at least 2x!...looks like he is scared back there.

I have no confidence at all he can lead this team down the field when needed.

How many pass plays past 15 yards?

It's not one qtr...we're going on 5 years of absolute ineptitude.  Given the volume of QB running plays, its apparent the coaches don't trust their QB. Still, I don't expect DJ to be this bad all year; I suspect some of the poor 1st half play is a byproduct of missing most of last season.

Belichick hasn't had it for quite some time. He built a horrible roster in NE. His time has come and gone. Daboll won COTY hiding DJ. He deserves an actual QB to mold.

Bobby Slowik should be priority number 1!

Jones did this all summer long. Our beat writers said "jones started slow but then was lights out" etc...let's see if he can at least make this a game.

He is not that young. 25+ is old to see what you have.

I can't believe anyone is surprised by this. This team was designed to work with Barkley. Without him -- it is like when he was out with injury, and it was "well Barkley was hurt". Now it is like the dude is scoring 3 TDs in a game on another team and they still look like the same team when Barkley was hurt.

I dunno, I don't think Schoen fires his buddy until he gets a go around with a different QB.
And I don't think ownership are binning Schoen.
It's two quarters, but if those quarters are replicated for any lengthy period we're picking early again.

Jones can't have any pocket pressure, and the WR must be wide open and sitting in a route. If he has any rusher at all near him, or if the WR is moving, he misses. ITs Lock/DeVito time

This really looks like the giants are playing with a project QB who was a pretty good Australian Rules Football player.

Dear lord, it's been bad but we will still hear it's someone's fault.

Belichick is not the answer guys. Bringing in what will be a 73 year old next year who is more focused on his media career and 25 year old girlfriend now is not the solution. Moreover he's been terrible at player selection for a long time now, and he'd insist on being the deciding voice on that front.

I'm as demoralized about this team as everyone else here, but that is not the answer. I am positive of that. I tend to doubt he'll even be interested anyway.

Best we can hope for is a repeat of the AZ game.

Down 2 scores in the 1st half to a middle of the road team at home.  Very reminiscent of last year. 

The 3 points on the board are courtesy of the defense, who aside from that 1st possession hasn't looked good.
