THats my point--they went into the game with a 52 man roster---they wouldnt have had to deactivate anyone---that's what makes is so unforgiveable  IMHO

I think this is why Daboll will be fired before too much longer--don't know what he said to the team after the game, but every single player KNEW that his failure to have a kicker back-up plan cost them the game.

It's almost comical it's so ridiculous.

Regarding Gano, did the ST coach strongly suggest to Daboll to bring up the extra kicker from the PS just in case?

I think Daboll may have bitten off more than he can chew. If they don't start collecting some Ws, the calls for his head will only get louder as the season goes on.

I generally agree with you about coaches calling plays potentially missing some other things.  But this is like being able to walk and chew gum at the same time.

I was worried about Daboll not spending enough time with the defense and special teams, never did I think they would go into a game with 52 on the roster and a kicker with a sore groin.
