There is no way in the WORLD that Burns played well enough to be a hero. I am sorry.

And Dru Phillips not being there is a reason why PFF loses credibility to me.

Curious, how has Nubin graded? He played 100% of snaps both weeks but haven't exactly heard his name called for good or bad.

I agree that PFF isn't the best resource, but sacks aren't everything.

Interestingly enough PFF Burns ranked 46th among edge rusher with a 11.6% pass rush win rate percentage

Dru had a 70.7. That's a solid score. Looks like they dinged him for 2 missed tackles and allowing 5 completions on 7 targets.

Thats what I find amusing that they knock him for 2 missed tackles when Burns for 99.9% of the game was out of position to even make a tackle.  =))

Wait - I thought Brian Burns was a FA bust??

He is, in my opinion.  PFF clearly believes otherwise

I don't think Burns is the problem or a mistake. He is learning a new system. He had a few key 3rd down run stuffs on one of the too many to count trips to our red zone.

Pinnock had 2 sacks as a safety and got the lowest PFF score. You can't make this up.

Trench

What did Theo do to garner being a goat? He wasn't targeted that I can remember.

Guys who played well and should be on the hero list for this game:
1. Jones
2. JMS
3. Singletary
4. Phillips
5. Banks

Singletary had a good game, I don't think anyone can be mad at him for the fumble, it was a good run, he was holding the ball fine, just a damn good play by the defender that punched it out.

Singletary did have a good game, but we absolutely can be mad at him for the fumble.

He was not holding the ball fine. Had he secured it "tip to tip" and tight to his body, there's no way that ball is getting punched out. It was sloppy and otherwise negated what had been a solid showing.
