The Cowboys are a well-deserved 1-2 right now and their one win over the Browns doesn't look impressive anymore. If the Giants (and their fans) can avoid bringing mental baggage into the game from past performances against the Cowboys, this is a very winnable game.

Out of curiosity, what do the fans have to do with winning this game?

It would be a huge statement, and potentially save this early season if we can win thursday night. We have been dallas's bitch for a decade. If we ever want to be taken seriously, you have to win in your division.

Doc: Can't speak for anyone else, but IMO bama (like me) is desperately hoping for a REAL, ACTUAL home field advantage during Thursday night's game.

IMO Giants were "lucky" yesterday to have been playing on the road. Imagine what the 0-2 fan-base in the stadium would have done after we fumbled the opening kickoff, gave up a 1-play TD drive, then stunk up the first possession?

JUST ONCE, I'd like to see Cowboys committing false starts and exhibiting any or all of the other signs of an NFL team playing on the road which are common in most other NFL venues.

If Jeff Hostetler could do it, Daniel Jones can do it !!!

Dallas and Philly have owned us for the better part of a decade. If things get bad early, the attending fans will probably turn on Blue or leave.

It's a huge game and to have the fans yelling and screaming in support of our team would be a huge boost.

Rich: In my post elsewhere about us giving away 14 pts, I forgot about the 3 given away by the kicker. Bob

Winnable game but they are a nemesis for sure.  Let's win this.

That was nearly fatal as the ball goes to where it was kicked meaning the Browns got it nearly at their 40.

Rich: That was my 2nd most important "play" of the game... the D rose to the occasion after the K missed his chance to ice the game. Bob

Bob,

I completely agree.  When that happened, I had visions of the Giants once again snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Rich: We're "way overdue" for a good performance (and a win) on a regular-season "special" game (Monday/Thursday game), not to mention being overdue for a victory over the Cowboys. If it happens, it is sure to be a close (or even overtime) nail-biter. If the Ravens couldn't blow them out, we sure can't. Bob

Oh, I'm not looking for a blowout. The Giants need to show up, play hard and take it to Dallas. They need to treat it as a "turning-the corner" game. Dallas is vulnerable. Now is the time.

I agree that Dallas is vulnerable.

I think we kick them while they're down and Malik has his national spotlight game.
