He cannot challenge it.

It's. Not. On. Dabs.

Why can't he call timeout on 3rd down is what I am talking about. I think Gray crossed the plane on the 3rd down run!

So far The offensive line looks much better than it looked in a long time. The defense also ( for now) Shown up and created problems for Gino Smith. I still question some of The offensive play calls

Honestly, I'm close to 100% sure it was in. The issue is you're never going to get that overturned from that angle.

Ok. Well the booth already looked at that because if it's not a turnover, it's a TD.

Dabs wasting a timeout does nothing other than waste a timeout.

Edit - you're talking about the play before turnover. Apologies.

Quote from: kingm56 on October 06, 2024, 04:54:33 PMLiterally not one announcer agrees with you; they all called it a fumble, including Tiki.  Per the rule:

"the ball must be in possession of a player and cross into or above the front edge of the goal line while inbounds"

He did not have possession of the ball when it crossed into the front edge, as you could clearly see it shifting in his hands; thus, it's a clear fumble...the refs did not cost us the season or game...

Lets try to be objective.
The last replay showed he broke the plane and then the ball came out.

Should have been a TD for the Giants.

Intentional grounding, Mr. Referee?

Two calls for the home team is pretty pathetic. It's making the game unethical.

It's getting harder to watch as well. This Giant team has come to play today. They don't need the refs mucking it up.

"Dave Jennings was one of the all-time great Giants. He was a valued member of the Giants family for more than 30 years as a player and a broadcaster, and we were thrilled to include him in our Ring of Honor. We will miss him dearly." (John Mara)

I was posting about why isn't Daboll calling timeout or throwing the flag on the 3rd down run fellas. This is a huge deal. There's a real good chance the 3rd down run was a TD!...get more review angles by calling timeout and slowing it down.

He didn't break the plane with control of the ball, Tim.  It was clearly shifting; I knew right away it wasn't a TD.  I actually don't believe it was that close; heck, even Dabs didn't complain about it in the interview...he acknowledged it was a fumble.

It looks to me like Jones has made a couple audibles. This is nice to see

He did.

There will be more views of it and the NFL will issue a worthless apology.

The ball didn't even shift at all until the ball was completely level with the goal line

At no point during that whole replay was the ball even behind the goal line
