Rich,
To see Jones march the field in that environment yesterday on the first series was phenomenal and should do nothing except increase his confidence. He also did well at the end of the 1st half also - 2 areas where he has struggled in the past. Enjoyed seeing this

On a related note, the Giants used to own a stat like this

It makes a huge difference for the defense to be up in the 2nd half.  Especially up by more than a score.  To some extent I think that goes underappreciated by fans. Much easier to rush the passer when you are pretty darn sure the play call is a pass.

It's also helpful for an offense not to fall behind early.   Lot more pressure on an offense playing from behind or when the score is tied or they have the lead.

The Giants dug themselves out of a 14-point reversal in the Seattle game, which, in itself, was both amazing and highly out-of-character. They've got to be pumped up now with a chance to even their record on national TV against a team that is beatable, although I really like their QB. Bob
If Jeff Hostetler could do it, Daniel Jones can do it !!!

I agree with you, Bob, and this is something that cannot be understated. Especially on the road in Seattle, of all places, that Jones and the offense cooly ran back out there and proceeded to methodically march down the field again and finish it, this time, with a touchdown was a tremendously powerful statement and confidence builder for the entire team.

At that point, it was "Game-On!!!"

Peace!
