It still hurts to hear that name lol, good for Slayton though, always been underrated.

I had done such a good job blocking out that name (or I am just old and forget things too easily) that I had to Google Golladay's name for this post.

Golla-what? Goldilocks? Golll-y! He never saw the field enough to remember him, much less forget him.

The receiver corps is improved now so let's look forward at the possibilities.

Peace!

If I'm Slayton I wouldn't even want my name in the same sentence as that bum. In any context.

"There is a greater purpose...that purpose is team. Winning, losing, playing hard, playing well, doing it for each other, winning the right way, winning the right way is a very important thing to me... Championships are won by teams who love one another, who respect one another, and play for and support one another."

And yet people have still been trying to usher in the Hyatt era to replace him... At this juncture, Slayton remains head and shoulders above the kid in terms of both productivity but also how smooth he is in his route running

These days I picture Rodney Dangerfield's "I get no respect" line when I think of Slayton

I agree with this completely.

Slayton is the better receiver with a much wider route tree. Until Jones throws more deepballs Hyatt wont get much action.

I almost wish we didnt trade up and got two other players elsewhere since it feels like a potentially wasted pick for Hyatt
