When's the last time he threw a TD at home?

Burrow had to make one throw to ice the game. He did it.

This defense is playing the best we have seen in years.

The offense is as putrid and flaccid as ever.

This isn't a rookie in his first game.

Enough is enough.

I'm not a hater. Yes, I think they should have moved on when they extended him. But it's 4am where I am - if I was hating, I wouldn't waste my time staying up.  But it's not just one game, Jones isn't good enough. You go the two min warning and you've given up 10pts against this Bengals O who put up 38 last week against a Super Bowl contender.

It's just not good enough.
Burrow had time to throw one throw to ice game ?
You mean the one he was under pressure scrambled to the right and tossed a lolly pop to a completely wide open receiver for a first down late in game.
Is that the one?

I agree Jones did not have a good game last night.
[/quote]game ....  but in Washington game did he not throw a very good pass on a fourth down play late in game on potential game winning drive to extend the drive ? dropped. Same for Dallas game perfect throw on similar situation , dropped. Again I am not defending him and I would like to see a better QB on this team , not happening right now. But at same time it is not always just his fault that they lose...every QB in league makes bad throws at times no one is perfect...many passes from " good Qbs " are off target etc. receivers are are 50 % of every completion....sometimes very good receivers make a QB at times.... game plans , receivers being open all contribute to a QB success.

Your saying that any other QB would have won the game for the Giants?
Ok

I like the guy and root for him but he isn't the future.

At this point I wanna see Devito

So this play at 3:49 is how you are describing that? Obvious ax to grind. 1. he did not lollipop it. 2. his receiver was not wide open. 3. if it were Daniel Jones he would have ran all the way to sideline and before stepping out of bounds threw a prayer like he used to do -- which would have been picked or he would have thrown it away like he has done season. 4. Eli Manning could not/would not have completed play unless it was 2011 Super bowl. He would have gone down ans taken the sack the minute someone pulled his jersey.

Says it all.
Yes Giants offense stunk.  But Bengals got back three very good players last that had been injured and not playing.
Hill was one of them , a Giant draft pick they let go.   Two missed Fg s also contributed to the low total

No I am referring to the 3 down  play on last drive that went to a TE to keep the ball and not have turn it over Giants

Okay, even if the 2 FGs were made. You're not winning many games with 13 points. Every team scoring under 20 pts this weekend lost.

The Giants scored 7 points against a 1-4 team with maybe the worst defense in the NFL. Not good.

So, this play at 9:25? That is how you describe that?

I will repost my comments

I also reckon, and in fairness this is seen through Blue tinted shades, I thought Burns was held on that play.
I haven't watched it back yet, but my I've seen holds called for less.
But the broader point stands,  Burrow didn't light it up but he made enough plays to ensure a W

Giants now have the 29th scoring offense in the NFL. I can't understand why anyone would pretend that this last game was an aberration. It's pretty par for the course. Even at their "best," the offense struggles to put points up. It's why they're 2-4. The reflex to defend the QB who helms this putrid offense doesn't make sense to me...

referring to play at 2:05 left. not lolly pop. a good throw but he scrambled and was under pressure...and Yes I said last night it looked like Burns was held on the play as if not held he made have made Burrows hurry the throw

On the 4th down play at the end, Jones AGAIN locked on his receiver but Wan'Dale was wide open!

Enough is enough. We average like 15-17 points per game and Jones dunks everything off.

I also feel Daboll should have established the run in the beginning of the game.

Listening to Giants' podcasts this morning, Bengals brought down safeties early in the game. That's why there was so much passing into the defensive fronts. They dared the Giants to beat them over the top and we know the Giants cannot consistently do that right now. The complete inability to challenge down the field affects the rest of the offense, and coupled with a 1-read offense... suffice it to say the Giants' offense simplifies things for the defense and they can play extremely fast.

God, last night was pathetic. Again, we saw the difference with a top end QB versus whatever you want to classify Jones as these days.

We'll keep seeing the excuses (or the most ardent Jones supporters MIA).
