I'm reading a report that AT is getting an MRI on his foot. That would be a tough loss against the Eagles. Burns has a groin issue. Both were hobbling after the game.

Well...it was a nice run without injuries while it lasted.  But couldn't go on forever I guess.  Those two...REALLY hurt.

Here's an opportunity to put Neal at LT.

Let's see what Neal has there. My guess is not much but let's see.

Burns is a big loss. I know he's not universally popular here, and a few posters were ready to crucify JS for the trade but I really like him. He's played very well over the past couple of games especially.

I'd rather give Neal a look to see if he's salvageable. If he shows promise, he becomes trade bait for a team in need.

Where do you think he's been practicing?

Good question. Hard for me to say with Bricillo in the building. Who knows what he thinks of Neal, what his deficiencies are and where he *should* be playing.

I thought you were trying to be funny and expected a sarcasm image somewhere in there.

Why does anyone believe the Giants would be a playoff team or a contender if they replaced DJ with a franchise-caliber QB?

The Giants, year after year, have proven they can't keep their players on the field.

The more you win, the easier it is to tolerate pain. Losing magnifies the pain.

Because the defense has been great, ST I believe is ranked top 10 too, if we can get a QB that can elevate the players around him, and then make all of these open plays DJ is not going for for whatever reason, then we'd arguably be 5-1 right now.

We don't; however, we know WE'RE NOT a contender WITH him.

Every team has injuries.  Maybe you're not paying attention to the NFL beyond the Giants?  Dal has been without half their starting defense, including APs Lawerence and Parsons; Phili has been without their AP/PB Wrs Smith and Brown from multiple games. Yet, both teams are at or above 500.  KC is undefeated, with their two best WRs and two best RBs on IR.  And then there's our Giants, who have had reasonably good health, a top 10 defense; yet are 2-4.  Now that we have significant injuries, it's going to make things harder for our already inept offense.

The difference with those teams still in contention and our Giants is the former are helmed by PB/AP QBs....
