Might as well keep Nabers out too then.  They're not gonna have time to get him the ball anyway.

Trade guys and let's stockpile picks

Out steps Evan Neal from a phone booth pulling off his sweats and step in like the super hero he was drafted to be!!!!!

Ezeudu is second on the depth chart at left tackle. He was an unmitigated disaster last year when Thomas went down. Jones had less than two seconds in the pocket with Ezeudu being the primary culprit. Jones will never last the season.

If we get anything out of him we better sign that oline coach to a hefty raise!

Eagles left tackle out indefinitely as well. Injuries are a plague in the NFL. Go unscathed and you probably made a deal with the devil.

My wife fell down our stairs last year and suffered a fracture of her tibia, Lisfranc and some other bones and ligaments in her ankle area which was an absolute disaster. She needed a plate for her tibia, plates and screws for her Lisfranc and a cast for eight weeks.

The doc assessed her, and gave her six to eight more weeks with a new cast. It was frustrating as hell for her.

She then began rehab and was doing well, or so she thought, until she fell again while running and swore up and down she screwed it up again! Back to the doc, another assessment, nothing major but a strained ligament. But they noticed that parts of her Lisfranc did not heal in the correct position. Guess what? Back on the surgery table, break the Lisfranc again and reset it so that it is in the right position so that she will be able to function well after it heals. You know the routine ... six to eight with the cast, evaluate, four weeks in a new cast, rehab, much, much better!

Total time from injury to check the box, healed: nearly 10 months!!! Keep in mind she did this only days before I went in last year for my knee replacement. So, as it turned out, I ended up literally jumping off the surgery table and her jumping on! Not the best formula in the world for a total knee replacement post-op patient caring for his wife with a broken leg/ankle/Lisfranc, post-op. Don't ask how either of us made it through, either with having to manage a 10-year old still, not to mention a teenage girl and an adult son with both of us in our mid-50s.

Thomas IS finished for this season. It's not even a debate at this point. Unfortunately, he is becoming damaged goods and a Tackle isn't worth two bits if his two feet no longer work as originally advertised.

So, for everyone burning a cross on Daniel Jones' front yard these days, in hopes of getting first dibs at a QB next year in the draft, it may be back to the well for a new Left Offensive Tackle if Thomas cannot come back to his 100% self.

It's really a sad, unfortunate occurrence for such a great player who has become one of the best players on the Giants and one of the top 10 Offensive Tackles in the league today.

I wish him well in his upcoming surgery (NOTE: hopefully only one) and rehabilitation.

Peace!

It's too bad. The offensive line had really improved. So so hard for a line in the NFL to remain intact throughout. It really was just a matter of time that someone in that line would go down. Thomas is the best of the bunch. Sad.

...but his ill-fitting cape gets stuck in the hinge of the phone booth, and he promptly falls down. An elderly lady shuffling by steps over Neal and grabs onto Daniel Jones pulling him down in the process. The Giants are forced to punt.....again.

I think it's actually pretty predictable.  Giants OL players always go down.

OL injuries around the league seem like they are up considerably.  Not sure if that's statistically accurate but sure seems that way.
