Fire the entire coaching staff and sit Jones until you can release him in the offseason.

Bring in BB who will no doubt tell Johnny to sit down and shut up.

Keep Schoen but Bill has final say.

I'm DONE with inept, unwatchable football!!

From Simms to Eli (with an assist from Hoss) our Super Bowl Quarterbacks. Great defense and clutch QB performances...NY Giants Championship football.

I have an old profile still floating around: andrew_nyg....I am one and the same!

You forgot tank next year and draft Archie!!! /sarcasm/

From a 10'000' view, the Giants may face a more daunting reality.

We fans can't help but notice a Bill Belichick or Mike Vrabel is available. And we think it's as simple as firing Daboll and signing them.

The sobering reality is, they probably have no interest in coaching the Giants. Look at the Giants last 4 failures at HC: Ben McAdoo, Pat Shurmur, Joe Judge and Brian Daboll.

What do they have in common?

Low budget options who were just happy to get the job. That's the candidate pool the Giants have access to.

When you get to the top of the list - the Harbaughs, the Belichicks - even the Vrabels - they are men with options. They will likely want nothing to do with this embarrassment.

Take Belichick for example - the Cowboys and Eagles will likely be looking for a coach, too. These 3 teams were in the market for DCs last year. The Giants hired Shane Bowen, a guy none of us probably ever heard of. The Eagles hired Vic Fangio and the Cowboys hired Mike Zimmer.

And why is this team in this position? What makes this job so unwanted?

It's not Jones, because as you pointed out, this predates him.

I'd love to see if he has one more rodeo in him

For what, 1, maybe 2 seasons? He is old, the game has changed, and he did nothing post Brady, they were awful even with him drafting a QB in Round 1 alongside a few others in mid rounds.

I respect all he has done, I don't think he has it anymore.

He did nothing pre Brady as a HC and coached NE into the ground post Brady; if you put the member-berries aside, you'll realize it's a terrible idea.  He'll be 73 next season for crying-out-loud.  He's done as a coach.

Belichick was great in his time. His time has passed.

There is a lot of young, up-and-coming talent waiting for an opportunity. I don't want someone coming in with their, "Back in my day..." philosophies.

This is exactly how we got stuck with DG at GM, so I agree.

AYM - all I can do is speculate, but from what I understand, it's about power.

There was a rumor a couple years ago that Belichick was warning people not to work for the Giants due to the front office chaos and power structure.

It's why the big name coaches and GMs don't want to come here. Why deal with that BS? Did you see Schoen operating on Hard Knocks? It was cringeworthy. Those are the types of GMs that will come here. Bros who can wear their backwards baseball caps and keep things casual, lapping up their own BS. This is not a professional front office. I don't know about you, but I was horrified by what I saw.
