Part of me says cut him but he'd welcome that.

Bench him or put him on special teams.

Topshelf21

Sit him/fine him w/o pay if that can be done.

I'd instruct my defensive team to knock that dude on his ass to the point it starts a bench clearing brawl. We've been the laughing stock, soft playing NY positivity fun bunch for too frigging long. Lay some wood and knock that f*cker out of the game. We aren't winning anyhow and maybe we start to bring back a little respect we used to have back in the Big Blue Wrecking Crew days.....because we are literally a bottom of the barrel team that has no respect from any team we play at any time during any week. We get beaten down like a red headed step child repeatedly and this xxxx is getting old.

Let's bring back some violence and respect to the new york football giants.

It is embarrassing to be a giants fan. There is not even hope for us or anything to look forward to.

We are the laughing stock of the league and if there are no repercussions for Banks and his not wanting to play for what he is being paid, it's time to completely start over again from scratch. Get rid of Scheon, Daboll, Jones, Neal, and anyone else who's juice isn't worth the squeeze including Banks, because xxxx rolls downhill and we got a lot of xxxx at the top of the hill boys....

I'm tired of the same old stupid ass interviews post game from Daboll with his head down with a forlorn look on his face. This is your frigging job dude. Fix it or leave!!! Nobody gives a xxxx about your weight loss because you can't control what you put in your frigging mouth. Win XXXXXXX....just fucking win!!!!

This xxxx has been old for too long. I'm the biggest buy in for the new guy when they are hired, but this guy is even worse than Joe Judge. I know his record is better due to the lucky year he had when every break went our way. I'm tired of looking at his tired retread answering semiglutide injecting non winning without Josh Allen guy.

The Hail Mary backfired and made you look even more desperate than you are Daboll!

Time for a change boys.... I honestly wouldn't mind a complete overhaul mid season.

Perhaps it would show the fans how serious the ownership is.

SUSPENDED WITHOUT PAY.

It is folly to think some of these way overpaid guys care about a little criticism.

But it will never happen,
They can deactivate him, but he still gets paid. CBA doesnt allow players to be suspended without pay in these situations.

These comments are outrageous. Yes he made a mistake but he is not getting cut or suspended. You don't give up on top drafted talent so easily and he is no Toney Baker. These comments are why almost all of our best players leave the first chance they can and get replaced with worse or untested players. Banks is still the best cover corner we have.

I think he thought he was going out of bounds or he was going to slide, but definitely gave up too early.  By the time he realized he wasn't, was too late.

I listened to Carl Banks's podcast this morning (I posted it here on a different thread).  He pointed out that while that play didn't look good for Banks, it's not like he doesn't go all out and tackle hard regularly.  It would be different if Banks had a reputation as a guy who didn't like to tackle.  He said while Parcells would have chewed Banks out, he wouldn't have suspended him or benched him or anything like that.

I'll probably get roasted for this. but here goes. it was certainly a low effort play. he should have tried to make the stop. however...its not like this was for a critical first down or went for a 60 yard td. it didnt make a huge impact on the game. i think he said something about he thought the runner was headed out of bounds..which he was. does it excuse the lack of effort? no. but was it a game breaking play with the game on the line? furthest thing from it. think its kind of overblown .

I tend to agree.  I think everyone is just frustrated with how this season (and the team's future) is progressing.  This would have been a non-issue if the team was competitive

How come no on is blaming the double standards that the NFL officials have when it comes to tackling a running QB? I watched 49ers D do the same thing when Mahomes took off and ran. No one tried to touch him, just run him out of bounds or get him to slide, as to not cause a 15 yard penalty for breathing on the QB.

Disgraceful effort and sorry excuses shared here. If he's afraid to hit the QB out of bounds then why did he completely quit on the play when he saw he wasn't going OB? Why didn't he then chase down the play.
You want to boo someone at a home game? Boo that piece of xxxx for his effort and leave Barkley alone.

Bobby Skinner suggested booing Barkley to get in his head and hopefully inspire a dropped pass or two.  Thanks to NYG's horrible performance, the boos went from being directed at Barkley to being directed at the putrid offense.
