how does the game play out?

I'd like to be optimistic but I just can't find a path to a Giants win here. The Steelers have big time pass rushers who will exploit our O line and get heat on Jones all night. This will get worse and worse over the course of the game if Jones primarily just checks it down, as we have seen him consistently do this year and in the past.

On the positive side, the Steelers offense is far from explosive, so maybe we can keep it competitive, but I just don't trust our offense to put more than maybe 13 points on the board in this game. So I think it's going to be hard to get the W.

Steelers 20-13.

I'd like to think that this will be a close game, but reality says no. Steelers win 27-13.

My Steelers fan brother thinks the Giants are going to win, and it is not to put some reverse jinx on them.  He thinks they are not as good as the record and this is the type of game they lose.  I reminded him Daniel Jones cannot complete a pass more than 15 yards down the field, and he said he was aware.

But, I completely disagree with my brother.   Think this is going to be a beating.  35-10 Steelers.

We'll score under 17 so my guess is 21-13 Steelers.

13-0 Steelers in a boring punt fest. Giants don't cross midfield.

Steelers win 24-13. Jones has 1TD pass to Nabers. TJ Watt with 2 sacks.

Monday night ? Jones on a night primetime game. At Pittsburg ?

Odds are not on G men's favor.

Giants grind out a win. A lot of good Defense hustle , maybe a TO or two. DJ scraping with 5 yard dink and dunks and like 100 yards rushing and doing dangerous things like not sliding ; using his head for a battering ram vs. a Steeler LBer... you know why exactly Shurmur benched Eli ; because he saw other QBs in the NFL doing "brave things"....several yearslater and here we are...

Hate to be a downer but I feel like unless the defense scores the Giants are likely to not score a TD.

Steelers 38

I predict a bunch of 3 yard passes to Wandale Robinson and us not scoring a touchdown again.

Jones simply does not play well in prime time games. Unless he gets benched or injured and TD Tommy goes in, our offense will be stuck in neutral.

If the Giants win, it will be because of defense and the running game.

I predict another prime time embarrassment and hopefully another game closer to the Jones era ending.
