After watching Daniels yesterday, this is painful to even think about

Yeah but if we lose to lose it's sucks.  There's guys out there that need the stats and the reps to make their next contract or their NFL career is over. I understand the why's but I just can't see most individuals taking plays off if they haven't had that big pay day yet. The cameras are always rolling.  Rg3 was super fun to watch too, I like Daniel's and I'm jealous but man he needs to bulk up.
Get busy livin ,  or get busy dying.

Isn't the real reason that the defense got 12 takeaways in 3 games he was QB?

Yeah, but this was easier to sum up in a meme.  The real issue is the frustration that NYG wanted Daniels (as witnessed by Hard Knocks), but meaningless wins prevented that from happening.  If only Schoen had traded away McKenizie and Barkley (with the added bonus of more draft capital) to make sure those meaningless wins didn't happen

That's the biggest mistake Schoen has made and I get it, Mara clearly didn't want Barkley to leave even as Barkley himself wanted no part of staying, but what's best for the team has to top everything else.  Barkley along with ANYBODY else of value should have been traded at the deadline last year for whatever they could get.  With the obvious exception of guys like Thomas and Lawrence of course.  Once the season was lost, which was mid October, the goal should have been Caleb Williams or Jayden Daniels.  It should have been the only focus of that front office.

I remain hopeful that he has learned that lesson and that this season he focuses his attention on whichever of the QBs he likes the best.  There's no Caleb Williams this year but there's a handful of guys who would all be an upgrade and I want Schoen hyper focused on deciding which one of those will become the face of the franchise for the next decade.

I think Daniels is being a little overrated here. He has 7TDs, throws mostly short passes and his Oline is blocking great so he has plenty of time. One lucky Hail Mary pass and all of a sudden he is the greatest rookie qb ever lol. Maye has looked good in his starts and Nix is playing better than Daniels or definitely just as good.  Williams Oline couldn't protect him at all in that game. I'd imagine if Williams was getting the Oline protection that Daniels was it would have been a different outcome.

Not sure I see it that way.  Daniels outside of TD passes where he has 7 and Nix and Williams have 8 and 9 respectively, is superior in every ranking.

I don't know who is calling him the greatest rookie of all-time, but praise didn't start this weekend with that hail mary.  Washington, who was 8th from the bottom in points/game last year with 19.4, is now 3rd in the league with 29.5.

Its a long season and I think he will have some challenges as teams get more film on him, but his performance thus far, leading all the rookies in passing yards, yards/completion, completion percentage and total QBR, has been very impressive.

Did anyone see the replay of one of the Bears defenders who was playing deep wasn't even ready for the snap and seemed to be engaging with the crowd? There was still plenty of hang time in the hail mary to make a play but was he the one who should have been covering Noah Brown?

The Commanders have played 8 games. Daniels has 7 TD passes which averages out to less than 1 a game. All those other stats are nice but when you throw short mostly your percentages will be higher. He had been okay but many people are making it seem like he is the greatest of all time. By many people, I am talking about commentators and many Giants fans on various platforms. Kid has been OK but honestly so has the other rookie QBs. Commanders have retooled their entire team which is the main reason they are doing so well.

I know this is a wild, crazy thought but gee why don't we give that guy another shot.

OR

Are we saving hm for next preseason when he takes 80 % of the snaps...again.

The Bears are so poorly coached. Handing the ball off at the goal line to a lineman who has never had a single carry. Not defending the sideline that enabled the Commanders to make a catchable Hail Mary. Then not having one defender back to guard the player who caught the deflection.

I also watched the 49ers with all their mid-direction and innovative plays in the red zone.  Compare that with Daboll's vanilla offense where we all know the play calls from our living rooms. Like Micah Parsons said: we knew every play the Giants were going to run by their formations. Coaching matters ...
