Who will be blamed next year?

Will the board move on to Daboll? Will it be the o-line again? Maybe the defense that allows a 50% conversion rate on 3rd and 4th down?

The accusation of DJ-focused strawmen is particularly ironic when majority of those complaining focus solely on DJ.

I honestly believe they will be pretty good next year provided the next QB they draft isn't also a bust. And if he is...I imagine eventually we'll blame him. But even if he stinks next year we at least have the hope that he could improve with reps. With Jones there is no hope. Only suffering.

I'm looking at the magnificent stadium the Vikings built..a true fan fest. And I see what Mara brought in the dead zone called Met Life...The world's largest fan appliance..and blame him for the wretched state of the franchise, forget the pathetic results on the field, for now.

The coaching hires..brass. cronies that have turned this one proud organization into a cruel joke..all on him..first and foremost. Fish rots from the head

A portion of the board is already blaming Daboll now, let alone next year and I'm not sure they aren't justified.  The move to take over play-calling has not improved the offense and arguably has hurt the overall team.  You can't just have an OC, DC, and STC.  You need a HC.  I'd love to know what Kafka thinks about this.

I'd rather be a disappointed optimist than a vindicated pessimist.

Not slowing my roll

Daboll must take blame this year. His coaching has not been good. Yes he saddled by mediocre QB play but his decisions are also sometimes baffling.

I feel like Kafka got baited and switched. I think he was about to leave this off-season and was convinced to stay, but if he had known the play calling would be taken he would not have.

Daboll deserves some blame as does Schoen for leaving us with no cover for the worryingly injury prone Andrew Thomas but I think they get one more shot with a new QB, be it a rookie or a veteran FA.
If you live your life as a pessimist you never really live your life at all.

Where would he have gone? I don't recall anyone offering him a head coaching jobs and he can't leave for a lateral move.
