Why? He hasn't been seriously injured. I would prefer that hadn't missed a game or two the last two years but it's not like he's has multiple concussions, a torn ACL or a neck injury.

Nussmeier, Beck, and Ewers aren't in my top 5 currently and I don't think they'll end there either.

It's gonna be Sanders, Ward, Milroe when all is said and done as the top three and the Giants, unless they revive with meaningless wins down the stretch will take one of those three.

I guess the argument would be that the college game is less rigorous and grueling than the pro game. A QB who has had multiple injuries in college, even if they're not devastating injuries, is less likely to suddenly be the model of health in his pro career. To my knowledge he has missed time due to injury in each of the past three years. That's just not a great pattern.

Furthermore, since it doesn't seem like the Giants are willing to acknowledge or admit that they're bad at keeping players healthy (and hence make significant changes), they probably should not be going after guys who already have shown a propensity for getting hurt before they even arrive here.

Listening to various reports on Beck, I get a strong sense if one was putting up or down arrows next to prospect's names there would be a double down arrow next to Beck's

The man knows his stuff. He nailed Sanders with the pocket issues. I find that a common trait in some shorter QBs who will roll out to make plays and I wonder if the drift back is to see the field clearly or if it's just a bad habit that can be broken.

I think the Giants will take a long hard look at Carson Beck and Nussmeier. He may like Nussmeier as his top pick but the rest of the season will determine where he goes off. I think Milroe is going to rise in this draft. Who they face in competition is a huge factor in separation.

All that said, it's going to be hard to pass on Travis Hunter. I joked about it but this kid is elite. Picking Hunter and then having a QB plan, is the way a team may go with him.

Time to address the elephant in the room. Do you think the Giants are ready to draft a QB who doesn't look the part?
