Schoen was planning on playing Jones for at least four more games, but upon hearing that, he changed his plans, and Jones will be benched immediately. :D

From what I just watched of this Sanders kid and the awareness and throws he made over the LB and the dump off touch passes, I'm sold.

Let Jones keep playing and continue to stink up the joint. Do whatever it takes to get the Sanders kid.

For all we know, the knuckleheads were scouting Travis Hunter, because Daniel Jones just needs another weapon. They can even save money on a DB. 😂

I've watched quite a bit of film on Sanders and he's got it. The only thing is we need to see him against top competition and pressure. Then of course there is the XXXXXXX factor which has been played up quite a bit. How would Mr. Mara feel about that? Hmmmm

Errrrrr, yeah, that is not where I would be scouting players, quarterback especially.

Deion Sanders would be absolute poison to this organization. And it goes without saying that if you draft his kid, you're also signing up for a fatal dose of him.

No thanks.

Poison? How many Super Bowl rings does he have? Not to mention how he turned around a dreadful Colorado program into a bowl team. Eliminate the kid because of his successful father and you get more Giant losing. Backwards thinking.

To be fair, there is also a possibility the kid could make the organization a TON of $$$$ in advertising and marketing etc. in todays NFL that's another component to consider

This is exactly the problem with the Giants and maybe some of their fans. They would rather take the bland, safe, QB prospect than the more talented one with swagger.

Good thing Schoen and Daboll aren't scared of moxy and swagger, just look at Thibs and Nabers. They were loud but looked at like dominate Dawgs on the field. If it's one thing this organization needs is Dawgs with ice water in their veins.

Thibodeaux and Nabers are one thing, but drafting a QB gets into that whole "face of the franchise" business that Mara injects himself into quite a bit. I don't know if he'd go for Sanders.

Why should we, as fans, give a sh*t about marketing and advertising? It's this type of thinking that has allowed Mara to look at his greatly increased team valuation of late and consider the last decade to have been a success.

I was simply pointing out it could be another reason for the organization to go after the kid with flair is all

I get it. I get so worked up about it because it gets at the heart of one of this organization's biggest issues.

Let's worry about putting a winning product on the field before we worry about marketing.

I'm only saying marketing could be an intangible in one player vs another in terms of drafting if there is equal ability

He wouldn't. Mara just wants to find another Eli.
