Why isn't Bowen feeling the heat for his awful defense?

29th ranked run defense + 1 INT all season = a terrible unit. 4 1st rounders, a 2nd rounder, and 3 3rd rounders and this is the performance he's getting from that investment?

I mean seriously, how does a team go 10 games with 1 INT?

Well, you've omitted any positives? You mention the run defense, but omit the pass defense (4th in yards allowed). They're solidly middle of the pack in scoring (a leap from 2023) and near the top of the league in sacks. And they're constantly under pressure of giving up any points because the offense is amongst the worst in the league. Considering it's his first year, I don't know how you couldn't consider it a significant improvement.

14 play, 8-minute drive for TD. Significant improvement, for sure!

QB keeper on 2nd down with young QB is plain stupid. Daboll is bizarre sometimes

Who hired Bowen?  Who is his boss?  Is his boss in meetings with the defense? 

Daboll is having an awful game play calling so far. Absolutely horrific

And what about the last drive? Mayfield is 14-for-16 for 160 yards. So, QB having a field day, along with a bottom five run defense, and a unit without an INT since week 1.

They are not good.

If Bowen does a poor job, it reflects on Daboll's ability to hire and manage his coaching staff, especially being DC number two.

Wow, you cracked statistical analysis: you only need to look at one half of a single game to make proclamations. You should let NFL franchises know of your newfound insight.

Say what you want but don't pretend it's based in an even-handed, objective analysis of the situation.
