If the Giants nab the top pick and Raiders want Sanders, I would want Michael Mayer as part of the draft haul. Bowers is their man. Mayer would be a great fit with thr Giants as part of a compensation agreement.

I would lean towards Hunter with our pick if we were assured in the swap Vegas takes Shadeur.

Right now the Giants own the third pick , behind the Jaguars and Raiders .In two weeks though , they play one another.

Hi, Dave!

You sound like you're hoping for the New Jersey Giants to win something, even if it's the first draft pick.

I'm skeptical, I'm afraid. Big Blue can disappoint even there.

Best wishes to you and yours this holiday season.

Go, Big Blue.

I like Mayer, we have two good young guys, but I wouldn't be opposed for more young quality depth.

I would still need additional draft picks, I am not letting them move ahead of us if we end up with a higher pick just for a TE.

I doubt the Giants are trading out of the #1 slot if they have it.

The sad part about this is that we're all hoping for the number one overall as if they can't screw it up.

Recent history would suggest that finishing with a top pick offers very little to impact the roster.

I feel like before we worry about where they're picking, we need to worry about whether we have the right people in place to make the picks.
From Simms to Eli (with an assist from Hoss) our Super Bowl Quarterbacks. Great defense and clutch QB performances...NY Giants Championship football.

I have an old profile still floating around: andrew_nyg....I am one and the same!

It's not so much about not screwing it up if we get the #1. It's about having the pick of the litter and holding them 100% accountable for their choice. Having the #1 pick removes the question of "Did the guy they really wanted come off the board before they picked?"

Andrew, having the #1 pick is like winning the lottery in certain regards. We can pick anyone we want, we can trade it to someone else who really wants to move up and garner many other picks. We would have several great options.
I HATE TO INCLUDE THE WORD NASTY< BUT THAT IS PART OF BEING A WINNING FOOTBALL TEAM.
