Do you really think all these losses are on the coaching staff or the GM?
Sure, we suck, but really, as the announcers said, even the hardcore fans are having a hard time knowing who these guys are. When half your team, especially the starters are on IR, and we are playing with a QB who really should be bagging groceries somewhere, that might have some impact.

Does firing the coaching staff mean we will win more games? If Parcels, BB, and Vince Lombardi were coaching now, we would still lose by 17 every week.

Lenn, these games yes, but the downfall began with a blowout loss at home on opening day. For the second year in a row the team was woefully unprepared. And with two exceptions, they have found ways to lose. They are undisciplined and they have been all year. This coach has done nothing right for two years. His staff is subpar. Yes now they are a shell of a team, but the whole year has been a disaster. No excuses. He owns this.

To me it's not hiring a new staff every 2-3 years.

Agreed. But you don't keep an incompetent staff just because you've screwed up all the previous hires and want not to show that you screwed up this one too. So let's keep the incompetent staff for one more year just for stability sake. And waste another year.

The excuse making for Schoen/Daboll is as vapid as the excuse making for Daniel Jones was.

Stability is one of the reasons to keep them. It goes a long way.

Belief in them is another reason.

It's not the fan's fault that we aren't winning.  And if you aren't winning in the NFL, you don't get job stability.  It's the nature of the beast.
