Who should stay and who should be fired?

Woody

Both inherited a marginal team when they came in ......and now after three years we are bottom dwellers in the league ...why  should anyone think things will change anytime soon.

I'm not a huge fan of firing people for just two bad years, but I am troubled by the way things seem to have gone completely off the rails this year. These guys seem to have lost control of the organization. It reminds me a lot of how the team looked in late 2021.

Sure, injuries are a factor. But lots of teams have injuries. Not all of them implode to this degree.

Further, let's call it what it is: these guys essentially bet their jobs on Daniel Jones when they decided to give him that big contract. Obviously, that bet was horrifically bad. So the results are what they are.

That's why if they end up fired I won't be yelling and screaming that they got screwed.  Personally I think their hands were tied a bit based on that 2022 season being significantly better than it had any right to be or even intended to be.  if they had simply sucked that year they'd likely be pretty good right now.  But I digress.

I think these guys could turn it around starting as soon as next year if they nail the QB.  And remember, they were trying to trade up for Maye and would have taken Daniels if they had the opportunity.  They evaluated those guys pretty well.  Nabers might be the best non QB in this entire draft, they evaluated that guy pretty well. The entire 2024 draft looks like the type of group you build a monster around.  They did a pretty good job of evaluation there.  New QB that doesn't stink, + one more off season even remotely as good as the last one and this team is in the wild card spot.  I truly believe that.

Rich, I just got a call from Pat Hanlon.  :Faint:
"There is a greater purpose...that purpose is team. Winning, losing, playing hard, playing well, doing it for each other, winning the right way, winning the right way is a very important thing to me... Championships are won by teams who love one another, who respect one another, and play for and support one another."

LOL!  The closest thing we ever got to good treatment by the team was handicap access while I was recovering from my broken foot

If Barkley sets the rushing record against the Giants helping seal a 2-15 season, it's going to be some tough days at the office for Joe Schoen.

Whether you want Schoen to stay or go, it's not hard to imagine John Mara reacting to what will ensue l.

I get that bottoming out may be the best thing to turn the ship around.  I just don't think I can applaud the guys that steered it there.
