Their latest podcast addresses the issue of firing Daboll but keeping Schoen.  Bobby and Justin argue this would be the worst possible outcome.  Their preference is to fire both.  Failing that, it makes little sense to fire Daboll and keep Schone.

They argue that Schoen is supportive of Daboll, so why fire the HC the GM wants?   Second, will the new HC get along with the GM?  Finally, how attractive is the HC job if the GM is on the hot seat?

If Daboll is fired, I know we'll never know who really made the decision. I'd feel better about it if Schoen and not Mara via his suggestive comments.

Mara needs to let Schoen manage his staff the same way Schoen let Daboll manage his.

I have said I think they should both be back next year.  If you told me I HAD to pick one to fire, I would pick Schoen.  I think Daboll is doing all anyone can with this roster and QB.  But, I would not want a GM brought in with the ultimatum he has to keep Daboll.

Keep them both or fire them both but if they keep one and not the other it shows that they haven't learned a damn thing over the last decade and, in fact, Mara is an idiot.  I sure hope that's not how this ends.
