Right now yes the whole team is terrible

But the first 6 weeks of the season ....on average

Minus the lack of turnovers the defense was playing well enough if not above average.... We were leading the league in sacks etc

And on offense during that span before Thomas injury the o-line was giving Daniel Jones the most time he's had his entire career ... so much that it made me .... A Jones defender since season 1 ... to finally admit Jones was playing badly 100% due to himself not the o-line and not the lack of receivers

If we had a good qb.... I think the conversation we are having right now is completely different

Daboll would be lucky to get an OC job following his poor showing. He should consider college coaching.

Fair and valid points.

But the play calling, lack of fundamentals, and the poor tackling is just hard to get past for Daboll

All I'm saying is this draft class was far from a bad one ..... the team is terrible but it has nothing to do with the rookies

I'd like to say we are tanking but this is just a talent deficient, injury depleted, poorly disciplined and badly coached team playing to the sum of those failings.

I agree Daboll has took a step backwards

But again I'll bring it back to earlier in the season .... Their were also many plays where we were like "damn if only Jones saw that guy" or "if only jones would've hit him the numbers it would've been a TD"

Daboll to college? He might someday. Think he'll get a job somewhere in the coaching fraternity...get the sense Mara is going to split the baby, not run it back. Someone is getting canned for sure. Schoen can argue..well Jones wasn't my guy..but he was..he signed him to a new deal. That dog won't hunt.

Here is what I see:

1) players seem to have stopped playing hard;

2) we have a D that cant sack a rookie QB.  How is that possible?  Game should be too fast for Penix.  Is that coaching or players?

3) No offense from almost everywhere.

4) two poor drafts and a decent one this past draft plus a bad QB signing in DJ and horrible backup QB signing.

I see no reason there should not be a complete housecleaning.

Its been that way for two seasons now. Healthy or not. They are poorly prepared.

In hindsight sight Giants started tanking in week 4

These are the same arguments I heard time and again when Gettleman was the GM. You have completely overrated the rookie class. Nabers is the only difference maker so far. And without a QB he is a shiny hood ornament. They signed a bunch of older OL  and didn't draft any. Not they've shown any ability to draft an above average OL.

They call holding twice at 34-7.

Okay see now you are being emotional

No one ever stated Gettlemen had good draft classes .... He normally hit early then always made a lot of questionable picks in the middle rounds

That's what he was known for
