Already interesting. A giant Pop Tart at Mid field,,sideline guy dressed as one..and Fumble on UMs first snap.

spiderblue43

Iowa State not wearing their team colors. Ugh. Marketing garbage to the enth. Can't stand that. Why bother?

Jersey Heel

That hand-off for the touchdown was money. Sign me up.

spiderblue43

Haha. Funny. No defense so far. Toasted Pop Tart defenses.

spiderblue43

I like the giant Pop Tart on the sideline for the Jints..we need a mascot for the defense  :ok:

Cam without 3 of his receivers. Driving. Looking in control...TD pass Cam..didn't throw much in high school...like his touch,,arm strength..can redirect..reset..whether he can elevate and avoid dumb plays is anyone's guess..

Without his top 5 receivers. I respect him for playing in this game when no other potential first pick overall would. There's literally no upside for him today. He's playing with receivers that he's never really played with in a game where his downside is the risk of a catastrophic injury. His coach should thank him and then pull him.

Don't know how you could watch this game as a Giants fan and not be over the moon at the prospect of drafting Ward first overall. Playing without any of his top receivers and he's still dropping dimes all over the field.

The guy looks real good. If I had to find anything at all which looks a little concerning (nitpick):

1. His ball has a bit of air under it

2. All we see is the play action type thing so it's a one dimensional look

But all things considered he looks calm, looks off the defenders, and has intangibles

MightyGiants

Ward looked impressive.  Although, it's tough to say how the missing receivers and weak defense played into things.   It's a shame he isn't playing in the second half

Loved what I saw from ward today. And very glad he got out of there without an injury. He and sanders are neck and neck for me but when comparing to last year they both might have been 4th and 5th behind the big 3 taken. If the Giants get either one they may have ended up doing exactly the right thing passing on a QB last year and instead giving this year's rookie Nabers to work with.

Good grief McDonell shouldn't be within a million miles of making the decision on who to take first overall. If he wasn't a Mara he wouldn't be employed by an NFL franchise.

Question - Ward only played a half. Is it possible Schoen got on a plane and went to watch Sanders also tonight?

PSUBeirut

Why did Ward not play in the 2nd half?
